Still dunno how he gets burn over Michy

Really hoping this is the year he can take that next step into a 15-20 goal striker

Good, lowkey might be the clubs worst transfer ever with everything it messed up. Was a fan of the move when it happened but manhis fall off has been legendary, haven't seen a steeper decline from world class to washed since El Nino

them kits are too nice

Probably since he won the Nations League which is a UEFA competition and was one of the top scorers during the CL knockout stages
more like CR has the goat pr team by a country mile
its great to see him putting out self promoting videos the week they decide the nominees

i would like to see VVD get it though...just for the sake of non-forwards getting overlooked all the time.
but messi had the best individual season by far

Yea but he wasn’t even Portugal’s best player in the nations league or who UEFA thought was POTT. Bernardo was named player of the tournament and deservedly so

He also won two domestic trophies, no? If the argument was Italy is a one horse race, you could say the same about la liga last few years. Lets be honest.. messi is best player in the world and cr7 is 2nd.. no issues with that top 3. No major summer tournament stand outs, so best player from UCL team makes sense

If its a trophies argument Bernardo won 4 domestic trophies was chosen as the player of his team and an international trophy while being the best player on that team for that nations league run. Not even trying to be s homer but the logic for making this list isn’t consistent with what they say matters

Zlatan has been such a blessing for American soccer haha!

Ibra: Pavon too good for MLS, won't be here long
Ibra: Pavon too good for MLS, won't be here long
LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said new signing Cristian Pavon is "too good" for Major League Soccer and will not stay in the United States for long.

The Argentina international had been a target for Arsenal in the past but joined Galaxy on Aug. 8.

He made his debut in the 2-1 defeat to D.C. United, before impressing as Galaxy beat FC Dallas 2-0 to end a run of three consecutive defeats.

"He is very good," Ibrahimovic said of Pavon after the win over Dallas. "He is too good for MLS."

Pavon was involved in the move which led to Ibrahimovic's 68th-minute opener and the ex-Manchester United forward said it showed his new teammate's quality.

"I think MLS will not have him for a long time," he added. "We should enjoy him while he is here."

At 37 years of age, Ibrahimovic is 14 years Pavon's senior, but said he does not need to offer the ex-Boca man any advice as he is already a difference maker.

"When you have a player like that, you don't need to say much," he said. "You just communicate in the game and try to make the best of it.

"He knows what he is doing. This is his second game and he was the best on the field and today he made a difference.

"I have played with many players and I see when a player is the difference, and he is the difference."

Coupé It Coupé It gonna have a field day with this.

but honestly after watching him im not sure he's worth 70 million
frenkie cost 75 mill for reference

This honestly just sounds like Man United trying to “save face”. Their PR team is top notch. They have lots of propaganda power.

So United scouted him for 8 months, made unofficial bids behind closed doors all summer and now they changed their mind all of a sudden. Bull ****

And as for Bruno giving the ball the away, that’s an honest and fair criticism. But the reason why his pass percentage is so low is because HE IS the midfield at Sporting.

Bruno is Sporting’s box to box midfielder, he’s the attacking midfielder, and he plays the false 9. He’s all over the midfield.

So of course his pass percentage is going to be low, he has to make risky passes for the forwards to score when he's in the number 10 role.
