Yeah i guess we have gone back in time to you have to be murdered in the box to get a pen?
AWB's was a clear pen....it looked like there may have been offsides on the play so not sure how that would have panned out if they took it to VAR...but it was a clear pen
The first one on ronaldo...pen...the second one....pen. Everyone knows that if you touch CR7 in the box he is going down...its low key brilliant because it gives him space. Defenders stand off him in the box knowing a strong breeze = falling over.
The first one i can see people saying "Ronaldo created the contact" But he continued to move pretty straight and the defender committed to the tackle.
The second one...clear pen. As a player myself i hate when a defender slide tackles you and you can:
A- jump out of the way to avoid contact - No Call
B - Take the slide tackle and hope you don't get injured - Foul
C- Do what ronaldo did and try to go down but at the same time not take the full force of the slide - no call?
The defender committed got no part of the ball and impeded the player

His younger countryman Camavinga also straight up skipped the PSG step and is happy/flourishing early on.
there are no guarantees, but as long as we get Mbappe maybe this is the best way for things to have happened. Vinicius grows more, RM saves big time money, and we got Camavinga.
