. they were one of the best teams in the world
Meh. They were always gonna be a tough out, but no one expected them to get this far and beat both Barca and Bayern.

**** I totally forgot about robben cause dude has been hurt like all year. wish we could've had him healthy the last 2 years, probably would've made a huge difference

So now that he's played his last CL game with them, how would you guys consider Pep's tenure at Bayern?

He didn't really bring them any further than they had already gotten relatively recently under Heynckes...

The only thing that really changed was their possession based attacking style he brought over Barca.

For Bayern it's really UCL or bust at this point for them. The league isn't challenging for them outside of Dortmund and maybe Wolfsburg at a close third.

EDIT: It was a failure given the reputation he brought in, and the expectations he placed on himself and the ones Bayern had. Even though he won league titles and league cups, his tenure was always gonna be judged by what he did in Europe. You could argue that they played better football under Heynckes. Pep seemed stubborn and tactically naive at times (E.g going toe to toe with Barca last season despite having a ton of injuries).

What a match :wow:

I'm nervous for tomorrow bros, should be lit

COME ON CITEH

Damn, I missed the game... Seems like it was a good one. I might have to try and rewatch it.

Hope Simeone doesn't get suspended for the final, what he did was definitely harsh but that'd be unfortunate if he cant be on the sidelines. Just fine him or something

Pep gonna get a serious wakeup call when he comes to England next year. It ain't gonna be like La liga or Germany where players can take games off and still win. Every game is gonna be a grind and if you aren't on it, you will get beat. Not to mention, almost every club from top to bottom will have money to spend on players. Ain't no more free lunches.

Great game. Bayern had the ball like 75% of the time. :smh:
Atleti and that defense played better.

Robben is hurt like every time Champions League time.

Hoping we keep everyone but teams are coming for Lewi, Muller.

Ok so apparently Simeone actually hit one of his staff...not too much better but he probably won't get a ban for it
