Boatang getting injured was a major blow.
But can't really say I feel bad for the German team. They still managed to create some clear chances, but they failed to put them away. Maybe Gomez was really the missing factor, but who knows. I figured Mueller would be able to poach a goal, at least, but he was invisible.
Kimmich was terrible this game. Don't understand why he kept getting all those passes. He barely crossed it in, but instead tried to take on the defenders or pass to someone in the middle which ended up losing possession.
I'll watch the final as a neutral. Can't say who will win.
On paper, France has the better squad and are probably favorites. Portugal managed to make it to the finals. So who knows, maybe the engineer will manage to outsmart deschamps. lel
