I know what you mean by him doing too much. He needs to simplify his game, that will come with maturation/experience. I hope he develops well in Germany.
Also what do you think of Rafinha, in terms of his future at Barca (at least for this season)? I know injury has been a real set back for him. There's a lot of competition for even bench positions, Suarez, Gomes, etc

Psk what are your thoughts on stealing back Bellerin
I think based off last season Joel has definitely earned starts but I just know Wenger is going to go with ox because he's healthy right now lol. I also see him going with elneny next to shaka and I hope akpom at least gets 10 minutes to see how he does against a quality side. I hear ya on the 3 players out but I think we can still do it since they have a few out themselves, we have the quality and starting the season with a W I feel is a must just to set the tone rightI'm hoping that Wenger opts for Campbell on the right along with Alexis and Ramsey in front of Xhaka and Elneny to start off. I'm worried we're about to trot out there with a Holding Chambers partnership at CB, but maybe Wenger decides to let Koscielny play. Theo can start up top, but Akpom can be a useful sub this game. I'm honestly not expecting much first game, three of our best players are out.
hopefully, he has a fox in the box thing going. For the backline, I'm thinking the same, maybe a chance he puts nacho in the middle tooI believe there's a rule that if you pay a certain amount for a foreign player, they can quality for a work permit, I see this rule being mentioned on reddit a lot but I don't think we paid enough to meet it.
Hopefully the Olympics gives him enough credit as a special talent to allow for a work permit. I'm not sure what other criteria they look at aside from having played a certain amount of games for the national time. I do hope that Japan goes through the next round so we can see more of Asano.
I was pretty much thinking the same thing. But I do wonder if Wenger would put Gibbs or Debuchy at CB

Chelsea going after Icardi?
Wtf do teams see in Icardi?
you're answering that with hindsight.. people in here were calling him a bust a yr ago..He has helped get them 2 CL trophies, hell yeah. Major impact when healthy.
He's quick, strong, technique, has an eye for goals...especially considering his supporting cast at Inter hasn't been great. Plus there aren' that many young strikers with potential available.

super sayian with 26 goals? I'm not knocking bale, and i would have been ok with united paying his fee too, but if you're going off ability then the pogba transfer makes sense too. I'll remind you all madrid broke the transfer record on a juventus MF at one point too.. a mf who only scored 6 goals that yrHell yeah. Son went super sayian his last year at Spurs. He warranted that price based on his ability alone

I've seen him play before when he was at Sampdoria You're right about both things, he is good and there aren't many strikers to go after. I just can't believe the market is so dry that teams want him so bad.
On the pitch, I like Icardi's game. I won't deny his skills. 43 goals total in the last two seasons without any strong supporting casts. Impressive
Off pitch? At first, I thought it was disgusting when I heard that Icardi broke the bro code. I haven't heard about Icardi cheating on his wife or anything bad. Heck, they look happy. Maybe they truly love each other. But stealing your mentor/friend's wife and kids in the front of you isn't definitely a cool thing to do in my book
