Those numbers were when harden first got on the team. He's in rhythm now. He's as good of a scorer as kd, not quite as accurate, and infinitely a better playmaker. Plus he'll have higher usage so more opportunities to florish. And tbh, the clear cut advantage nightly. He's def getting mvp of they win. In the event the Lakers do make it do the finals, Bron will try his upmost to not be embarrassed by kd. Which means hardest defense he's played in a decade. And they'll also put AD on him. KD can't clamp Bron. Nobody on the opposing side will be able to stop harden though. It's his trophy to lose imo.
This sounds really good in theory but I’ll need to see Jim deliver over the course of a crucial 7-game series to believe it. Also, he did just get there but those are pretty close to his averages with the Nets and you have to remember Harden played a lot of games solo without both KD and Myrie. I would expect his numbers to be closer to what they are when all of the Big 3 is playing that what they are when he’s playing by himself or even with just Kyrie.

Between the pressure of the playoffs (particularly the Finals), James’ history in the postseason and us only having a soho sample size of what the Nets look like at full strength, it’s not as clear cut as you’re trying to make it out to be IMO.

For some reason I was mixing Ian Rapaport up with Michael Rapaport, whatever the case is, as much **** Michael Rapaport has talked about everyone now he wants to leak DMs is kind of ***** made.

Any updates on Kds health? He gonna play sports anytime soon?
Reading between the lines, I believe that he is close

IMO all that matters will be getting him back with enough time that you can comfortably ramp him up to 36 MPG by the playoffs/semis and also figure out how to divvy up the minutes at PF/C between KD, Blake, LMA, DJ, Claxton and Jeff Green.

Had no idea Turner was leading in blocks. Haven't watched a single Indiana game this year. Has he been good?

The crazier part is that TJ McConnell is leading the league in steals...

Turner has been decent but not a great fit with Sabonis.

Isn’t KD’s brother funny style 8o Nets are going into the playoffs with some weird energy. 3rd ring for Kawhi coming...

Respect with honoring DC Area Legend in JYD. :pimp:

Thought it was McCants for a second.
Ive been looking for this clip of Mr. Sub commercials he did but it seems like it got scrubbed off the net. Had me 2nd guessing myself if he was even in them  but im positive he was.

He was one of the Raptors alumni they brought out during game 1 of the finals. Him and Oakley got the biggest cheers. JYD legendary.

He said Trump was the best president in his lifetime. **** Bob Cousy.

Did he really? Yikes. That's surprising given his history and that story about him and Chuck C in North Carolina pissing in solidarity. I guess he fell off.

"The hotel the Celtics were supposed to spend the night it didn’t allow Cooper to stay there. Auerbach was furious, started arguing with hotel management but they wouldn’t change their decision. No to make a fuss, Cousy told Auerbach that he will take a train with Cooper back to Boston, and the team will meet them there the next day. The game ends and they are at the station around 10:00 pm, with two hours to kill. Let’s just say post-game recovery procedures were a bit different in the 50s.

"They went to the bathroom and saw something they7ve never been exposed to before. Cousy from New York, and Copper from Pittsburgh, were staring at a sign pointing out bathrooms that separated African-American and white men. They were both confused."

“We’ve never been exposed, we’ve never seen that before. I teared up to be quite honest. I was ashamed to be white. Even now, I get emotional thinking about it.”
Bob Cousy
"Cousy came up with a solution. They went to the station that had been empty at that late hour and urinated right of the station, side by side. A small act of defiance that ment a lot to them. Only later did someone point out if a police officer happened to show up at that time, they’d get more than a ticket."

This clip personifies the issue with fans and NBA media. On one hand, they essentially tell players that anything you do other than win a championship is pointless but when players sacrifice money, minutes, touches ,etc to play on championship teams the narrative becomes "they're cowards" who "don't want to compete".

Aren't fans supposed to love players taking less money and sacrificing for championships? Now this behavior is cowardly? Fans and media crucify players for not winning titles. They minimize all non-championship accomplishments but chastise them for "stacking the deck" in order to win. Can't have it both ways.

It’s never the what, but the how. Winning a championship in the NBA is always the ultimate goal. Trying to act like there’s anything else to it is diminishing the competitive spirit of the sport. Conversely, stacking the deck is diminishing the competitive spirit as well. It’s all about confidence in your ability to deliver no matter what gets thrown your way. That’s why Mike is and forever will be the standard for the sport. The Lebron’s and others lack the spirit of competition. The humility when they win and the drive when they lose. They take out their frustrations on the Stephen A Smith’s and Michael Rappaport’s of the world.

There isn't an average to above average starting PG in the league today or the past 20 years I would take Bob Cousy over with all due disrespect.
