Warriors should trade Steph

Already got wiseman, get Cade in the draft. Have Minnesota’s pick. The stuff you’d get in a steph deal, trade him.

Can’t have Steph wasting away his prime like this.
Simmons package for Curry. Fits theoretically better with Embiid than Harden does

The real test is if the Warriors offer an extension and if Steph signs it this summer.

The end of dynasties is typically never pretty.
Steph is in that "legacy matters" group of players which includes 5 current players at the most. He should not sign that extension.

Teams also shouldn't half step rebuilds. Not everyone can do what the Rockets did and just never bottom out and get Harden. That's more "luck" that the draft is.

Blow it up.

I think Steph is a made man regardless. Granted I find the jokes this season to be funny.

Steph would be a seamless fit in Miami though. 8o

Oh so do I. But we've seen what's been going on broadly. The opportunity to revel in the downfall of GSW.

The irony of it is that the primary teams/fanbases that didn't like GSW are all screwed except one. All these people who been "waiting for this day" had an entire season last year without the Warriors and now have to deal with an equally annoying problem in the Bron Lakers. From juggernaut team to juggernaut player.

Bron is by and large more "tolerated" amongst the players than Steph though.

I would like to see him there or Milwaukee. Boston too, but Kemba exists and no one is taking that on.

I think they'll just take the LS this season, have two top 10 picks in the draft (sorry Minnesota) and try again next season. If it gets ugly again, they'll probably talk to Steph and go from there.

In the meantime, I'd probably explore Oubre trades to find someone under contract and a better fit.

Steph averaging 26 and 6 on 42/32. Warriors would be better off trading him. Trae young did more individually with less around him last year. Can't talk bad about steph tho
Steph is starting to age out. I will not deny that. We have just entered into an extremely false narrative as well

This is a really weak excuse IMO. If he was playing better or on a better team nobody would be saying that and eventually one or both things will happen and that excuse will be out the window. He needs to play better.

Yall want the Warriors to trade their best player in franchise history & the guy who brought them 3 rings.... all because their off to a bad start of the season while missing Klay for the year & Draymond coming off injury ??

Team isn’t going to be a real contender anytime soon unless Wiseman develops quickly, but as long as Klay comes back next year they’ll be a playoff team. This is usually what happens after dynasties, it’s on GS selling Steph on how quick they could get back.

with that said I also don’t wanna hear the “look at his team narrative” we’ve seen lesser players drag similar rosters to the playoffs I expect GS to at least be in the playin at the very least

It's one thing to say Steph isn't built like harden or LeBron and use that as an excuse for how trash he's been. Then you realize a guy like Trae is even smaller and not nearly as good of a shooter and somehow managed to put up numbers on a trash team in his 2nd year. Do better Steph stans.

No trading Steph but Klay aint saving em. Fringe playoff team next year even with him back. These boys been blown out with every L so far. Horrible.

You know he didn’t “milk” the injury last season right. I genuinely hope you don’t really believe that, and are just trollin. This is how memes and jokes start to become real conversation pieces

But I doubt you actually care for the real info . This probably fits better for what you want to believe.
He could’ve come back after 10 games. He missed 7 more. Then took of 1 for “Load Management” against the warriors.

He loves excuses

Fools talk about Wardell like he’s 42 years old. So many ****in excuses it’s unreal.

Warriors should definitely see what the trade market is like for him. Warriors do not have a strong fanbase.

I don't agree with the "other players dragged lesser teams" angle because those other players people bring up weren't 32/33 (Kobe, Westbrook). Those guys were at their peak doing that.
Stephs late bloom has people forgetting how old he is. Shrugs.

Not making excuses. I expected Steph to play better than this but acknowledged it was a uphill climb. He is not in the position to be that kind of player at this stage.

Age out sounds wild . He’s post-peak for sure. He legacy is solidified, absolutely. He’s just playing for final positioning now and these seasons aren’t going to help. We all thought that a Steph led team had a higher floor than this — regardless of where you fall on the Steph spectrum. It’s early but that’s definitely not encouraging.

Warriors should’ve traded Draymond before his value plummeted last season and people realized he’s worthless on offense without 3 of the greatest shooters of all time

No clue what’s up with Oubre. He averaged 19 and 6 last year on 45/35/78 shooting. I don’t even think it’s the “offense”; the games I saw he’s just missing wide open shots.
