Again, that falls on the shoulders of the best player.

Yall crowned him the best PG of all time, the LEAST he could do is not allow Kelly Oubre to produce historically poor numbers.

The best PG of all time? I wish I was in here for that discussion...

I mean when those D’Antoni/Nash/Dwight Lakers were playing poorly, Kobe just decided to do his own thing, even down to his minutes, only coming out when he wanted to. Missed the end of the season but still led the league in shots, 2nd in total points. Obvious counterpoint being that it ended up costing him his career, but alas, he went out firing.

I am surprised at Kerr’s unwillingness to scrap/dumb down the offense & Steph’s unwillingness to break it & do his own thing. Steph is extremely coachable, for better or worse.
That's a good counter. It was a wretched Laker season, but that might be my favorite Kobe season. :frown:

But then you have to throw the knee in on top of it too.

True. Although different legs and ACL's are typically an easier recovery. And he'll be like two years into that by the time he comes back.

Method has provided us a robust search engine. It isn't hard to find the hundreds of posts of people on NT crowning Steph as the best PG of all time.

Just a few

I've said Curry was the best PG ever. I'd rather have a prime Curry than any other point guard especially if we're playing in post 2015

We have a thread on here calling him the greatest player ever. And a bunch of people in there agreed that he is.

Draymond might have the worst contract in all of sports :smh:

The Warriors have some of the worst contracts in the league. Draymond, Wiggins and Klay (not his fault at all but coming off of 2 major injuries and 2 years of not playing). It's going to be interesting to see how they figure this out over the next couple of years.

Said all along that the 14-16 Warriors success was about Steph, Klay and Draymond all peaking together, at the same time, and complementing each other perfectly in the system Kerr put them in. Curry was the engine, but they all needed each other. The post-KD struggles just prove how true that was.

I’m not taking away from what they achieved now. It was very unique and special confluence of circumstances that happened for them at the right time. The window was short though.
