The switch up in some folks energy this season has been funny to see

Not hearing as many jokes about dudes needing 'moar help' when it's peoples favs in that position all of a sudden
It wasn't even that long ago when KD was 'holding Steph back' and keeping him from having better numbers and MVPs. I just expected more from Steph and know he'll eventually play better win or lose

I have irrational faith in Nurse that he will figure it out with that roster. Same with Spo

Orlando is the other question mark. I think Brooklyn is should be safe if Durant's body holds up

I think Atlanta is in the mix for sure but I still stand by the thought that it'll be tough
I dunno, its been tough watching siakam since the start of the bubble last yr. Good kid, hoping he turns it around but i do think we come up just short this yr. Hope im pleasantly surprised tho

Warriors should trade Steph

Already got wiseman, get Cade in the draft. Have Minnesota’s pick. The stuff you’d get in a steph deal, trade him.

Can’t have Steph wasting away his prime like this.
They “should” but 0% chance Mr. Light Years actually signs off on that. Since the merger, they hadn’t accomplished anything. He is their Duncan, their LeBron.

He only leaves if he demands, otherwise they’re gonna cash him out again when his deal expires after next year, and he’ll ride off into the sunset after his farewell tour.

But I agree they should

When Rich Paul steps up to be the bad guy and Dray asks out first >

I have said it before but I swear Clarkson gives me a "Malibu's Most Wanted " vibe.

Everything about dude's exterior seems to be an act.
Hombre disappeared one summer and came back with full neck tattoos and double sleeves. He's a nice kid that wants to be bad. A badman must've taken his girl and that's what he figured he would emulate.

clippers?
I think they are banking on PG, Batum, Kennard, Kawhi and Ty Lue's system to improve their passing chops instead of getting a primary playmaker.
is this...logic?

What a rare occurrence in this discussion :wow:
Not even going to lie, I threw out if Dame could do what he's done the last couple of years that Steph should be able to last week. :lol

I don't agree with the "other players dragged lesser teams" angle because those other players people bring up weren't 32/33 (Kobe, Westbrook). Those guys were at their peak doing that.
I mean when those D’Antoni/Nash/Dwight Lakers were playing poorly, Kobe just decided to do his own thing, even down to his minutes, only coming out when he wanted to. Missed the end of the season but still led the league in shots, 2nd in total points. Obvious counterpoint being that it ended up costing him his career, but alas, he went out firing.

I am surprised at Kerr’s unwillingness to scrap/dumb down the offense & Steph’s unwillingness to break it & do his own thing. Steph is extremely coachable, for better or worse.

Dubs roster is pretty sad. I thought Oubre would be better but he's been a nightmare. I honestly don't know anyone in the NBA right now that could make this team look palatable if you subbed them for Curry. They shouldn't even have a win. Took a prayer by Lee against the Bulls.

Klay, Dray and Chriss are tough losses. I think you gotta give it one more go with their 'big 3.'

I think even Steph knows it's bye season. You can see hear it in his voice and sometimes see it in his body language.

Why are y’all giving Wiggins and Oubre a pass?

What have they overcome that Steph hasn’t?
Who is giving them a pass? Many of us knew/thought they weren’t as good as people in here thought. I’m not blaming Steph for Kelly Oubre’s shooting. Wiggins isn’t going to magically become a player next to Steph. But there were some different claims being made in here for sure.
