Both came close as soon as they had even a semblance of the right pieces around them. Steph obviously was more fortunate in this regard. Not sure what is hard to understand about that I think yall are just looking at resumes
Both never ever came close to his level of success. 2016 blows either of their best seasons right out of the water.

Lebron took this team to the finals tho

Whoever's supposed to be updating the thread title is doing a terrible job

nick. nick. Knicks fan on Knicks fan slander :smh:

Lebron went to the finals almost 10 years straight.

He was able to sustain that level of performance over most of his career.

Lebron’s peak > Steph’s peak

Lebron’s career > Steph’s career

For all of those years of Steph’s supposed greatness he was never even able to muster up a single finals MVP

y’all tried to make Steph’s 1a to KD 1b on the Warriors when it was really KD’s 1 to Steph’s 2

In order to be in a conversation with KD and Bron you HAVE TO have a Finals MVP as a qualifier.

That’s what y’all don’t get.

Saying something as vague as “Steph changed the game” doesn’t substitute something tangible like that.

That’s how player are usually measured, by their INDIVIDUAL accolades.

No one is saying Steph is in the same tier as LeBron all-time, man

As always there's LEVELS to things. For 2016, yes Steph was in best player in the world consideration, thus was in Bron and KD's air then. That was really the only season though. Facts are Steph has been an all NBA player for only half of his career. Bron and KD for much longer chunks. He was much more of a Icarus type than a true gawd.

My Hawks! Don’t front you know!!
Hunter & Reddish combining to shoot 42% from 3 so far is huge. After Collins got suspended last year, it was just Trae & Huerter bombing. Now they have 5-6 dudes stretching the floor  crazy firepower

Can we talk about the Celtics losing to the Pistons?
Jerami Grant averaging 27 since opening night :nerd:

In their prime and during their championship windows? Why does he not? He’s done what they’ve done. Beat them all. But somehow, there’s an unease about putting him there. Those 3 really are the guys in my opinion. And I’ve said this in here a lot...but from 2014-2020...KD/Bron/Steph were at the same level. You could debate who was the better player. But that’s the tier.

This isn’t about “all time ranking”. Cuz they 3 are in different places. But you don’t think Steph Curry was ever at the table of LeBron or KD?

we’re never going to agree with this because of our fundamental disagreement on how to balance team achievement vs individual performance. If we’re talking all time, his individual run didn’t sustain the longevity of LeBron or KD. If we’re talking peak seasons, you could also make arguments that Harden and Giannis have been at the table in the same conversation as well.

Because it's not tennis basketball is a team sport. Sad how many times I gotta type this in here smh. Also the night of Currys career high Melo was best player on floor. But I'm sure thats funny too nvm there being any truth to it...
