Hunter & Reddish combining to shoot 42% from 3 so far is huge. After Collins got suspended last year, it was just Trae & Huerter bombing. Now they have 5-6 dudes stretching the floor  crazy firepower

Jerami Grant averaging 27 since opening night :nerd:

Not gon lie, I wasn't expecting him to keep it up once he left Denver because I felt that was the best place for him to be playing off of a skilled guard.

HIM HIM BIG LEEMELONE BIG LEEMELONE nick. nick. i say let’s vote for a new thread owner lol

I stand by my statement:

I know a lot of people are not happy with MVP MVP as the thread creator but I think it's great.

As we know, Lakers fans are some of the quietest on NT so it's nice to have one in such a position of power. Representation is everything. After all, the Lakers are just a small, family run business. I mean, they even got a PPP loan.

It's about time the underdog has some success. A true David vs Goliath story.

As always there's LEVELS to things. For 2016, yes Steph was in best player in the world consideration, thus was in Bron and KD's air then. That was really the only season though. Facts are Steph has been an all NBA player for only half of his career. Bron and KD for much longer chunks. He was much more of a Icarus type than a true gawd.
Steph was the best player in the world when Bron did this to him?

East. Not like Bron was averaging 40 a game to do it either. Most of brons mythology overblown because of where he played and who he faced nightly.
Did you see his performance against the Pistons?

Lebron is a 4x MVP and went to the finals for almost a decade. I don’t know how that can be overblown.

All sense goes out the window when some folks talk about LeBron and Steph. Both sides constantly tear the other guy down to prop their man up.

LeBron can be a Top 3-5 player all-time and one of the best players in the league for most of last decade.

Steph can also be a Top 14-20 player of all-time and in the same tier as Bron/KD during his peak.

All of those things can simultaneously be true but a lot of dudes think if you believe one is true, that you think the other is false. Which isn’t the case. At all

I will admit that I used to hate on Bron something serious until I adopted a more balance life view in general and realized it’s important to try to understand both points of view in debates and not spend my time hating on players. Its honestly made watching basketball a lot more enjoyable as I can fully appreciate watching the greats of my era. Some of y’all should try it

I was there. He did his thing against the pistons. Was amazing. It can't be understated that they aged out as well though. They were 34ish around that time.

He did go to the finals 8 straight years. Says more for his athleticism and durability than anything. He faced the same bum *** teams for yrs. Demar and lowry could've played Bron 1000 times, they would've never won.

But look at the actual history tho..11-14 was all heat. That's 4. Then 15-17 with kyrie and love. Sure love missed the playoffs in 15 with his shoulder, but still had kyrie til game 1 of the finals. He only drug non all nba guys in 07 and 18. All while in the weak *** east.

First year in the west, gets cooked and misses in completely. Can blame an injury if you want, but he came back 2.5 months before the season ended, so idk. Then he got another all worldly player and it's cash rules everything around me again.

DAME > STEPH

You don’t believe this, man

Steph knows he isn't in LeBron's league. His whole career was a big bucket of house money. Flukest stretch ever

LOLWUT. Only thing you could REALLY say is a fluke is the cap spike that allowed them to get KD. If you’re going to say his career is a fluke, you could also point to all the anomalies, or “flukes”, in the 2016 Finals that caused them to blow a 3-1 lead and prevent him from getting his first FMVP

Imagine you needing a bucket down the stretch and your 200 million dollar cat can’t get it for you. But play on playa I ain’t mad at you.

True. But on the flip side...without that 200 million dollar cat...you have a gigantic hole in your defense. Which btw...is what actually makes them a middle of the pack playoff team yearly. And then the other side of that is that it's Utah...so you can't let the guy walk, because nobody else is willingly walking back through that door. Sure...they could have traded him, but ether way they taking a step back.

Also...we all know no world exists where a ***** that makes first team all defense EVERY year (and has several All-NBA teams under his belt) is not getting cashed out. Regardless of what holes he has in his game. Ask Ben Wallace.

He’s a 4x MvP 4x Champion 4x Finals MVP

Always been the best player on his team for all rings.

Steph can’t say the same.

You’re telling me Lebron got to 3rd all-time points, 8 all-time assists by simply being more athletic and durable than others?

incredible.

my gut tells me he just playing nice now but I mean this HOU squad has some fun potential

christian wood has been insane
Glad Christian Wood signed with Houston.

3/$41million is a steal for him. I remember the night they originally announced him signing for 3/$27million, then I guess he backed out and rockets twitter was in full panic mode

That's the thing tho, nobody is arguing contrary to that lol. Y'all are creating arguments where there isnt one.

Curry was most definitely the best player on the 15 team. He got screwed. And matched with kd in 18. Kd had the edge because curry had a poor game 2 and kd blacked. But averages, curry was right with him.
