Why would you think it would be fake news? COVID on it's own doesn't cause any of the symptoms that you see. COVID messes with your immune system to make your bady react in different ways depending on your body and what current diseases you may have. So if you have a chest respiratory problems due to a chest infection, COVID will make your body's imune system overwork and overcompensate the chest infection causing other problems or making the current problem worse.
