Actually, I was under the impression that the pinstripe ATC2's were inspired by the French "Breton Stripe" design? Â Maria wore it as did the French football national team...
The shirt Andre wore at RG 1995 had a similar design, but he wore it earlier in the year... at the Aussie Open, but in a red colorway.Â
The stripes themselves are also different... the Breton Stripes have the same width throughout, while Andre's were thick and thin... I think it's just a coincidence.
I think, if they wanted to do some sort of throwback to 1995, they would have released the Air Challenge LWP and included the logo from that campaign... the Tennis Sucks skull and cross-racquets. Â

Exactly my thoughts. Plus the shirt had jagged stripes if you want to get picky. Pretty sure it's just coincidence. My favorite shirt, BTW.

in this thread peepz where telling me the OG volts would sit on the shelves and go on sale in the end, but it looks like the all white/Volt ATC III are sold out in a day or 2....I would say the OG's will sell out even quicker...can't wait for them to release!

I'm amazed at the level of speediness my shoes have just traveled. Think about the coordination it takes for FedEx to pick them up from Wellgosh, get them sorted and to the airport then take off and fly them to Indianapolis. Looks like it was a non-stop flight. Pretty freaking cool.
