No man, you've missed my point... "Grand Slams" are the four tournaments every year, as I'm sure you know... or hope you know.
So "my own grand slam" would be the four shoes I mentioned.

I actually play tennis, and the retro-ed ATC2s aren't suitable for actual play, as they won't last for that long in such physical/athletic moves on tennis courts.

This is just not true. I play tennis and play in atcs. They're heavy, true, but the soles wear down slower than my vapors. The only downside to these is if you toe drag, cause there's no protective material on the toe.
