Nah, I agree with Jasmina on this one. At the wedding. She clearly said that she has a male roommate and said that she had never lived with a significant other. This gave an opportunity to talk about his living situation. Instead he chose to not bring it up.

Get the big deal but it makes him look like he's being deceptive or hiding something. Why not just bring it up when your wife brings it up as well? If he's smashing

What gets is that Jasmina brought up having a male roommate. So if he was truly shook of bringing it up then that would have been the perfect segue to say he had two female roommates without any blowback. This means one of two things....

2. He smashed one or both of the roommates
