Found this on the r/MarriedAtFirstSight all points we've pretty much figured out.

Watched a video of someone who worked on the show Production vs Experts & more
renderTimingPixel.png

I found a youtuber that says she worked on season 9 North Carolina. She worked during casting and then was assigned to Greg and Deonna and Matt and Amber. Her channel is Booty Call to Bride. She did a quick review on last night episode and at the start she said she had worked on season 9 and that Production had the final say not the experts. Her example was Pastor Cal could say no but production could override him.
I saw she made a video on behind the scenes a few months ago and watched and took notes. If someone wants to link her video (I am horrible posting links on my phone). Here is what I took away from her videos
  1. Production has the final say not experts
  2. There are long 50-100 page forms to fill out and psych evaluations everyone fills out.
  3. Hard no's like no kids, no to certain ages, jobs can get you cut so people might lie because they want to get on the show. Like they do not want to have kids but they say maybe so they do not get cut
  4. There are people they would have matched but they crumble during the psych testing and they feel like they could not handle filming or the process so they are cut and couples rematch.
  5. Some people are cast fast in 1-2 weeks and some are cast over much longer period of time
  6. She says they do recruit and even asked her if her friend was single
  7. Pay is low for those working on the show, so things can get sloppy. People might see each other while casting. During casting they might pass each other in the hallway or be at the same places and see each other.
  8. Looks can get you booted, they turn down people because of their looks
  9. Production uses hooks or situations to get discussions started.

I believe at this point they pair up 2 couples for shenanigans and the other 2-3 are a toss up.

It’s crazy cause the start of every season, u don’t look at all the couples and they they all got a chance to stay together on decision day.

last season we all knew Amelia/Bennett and Amani/Woody will stay together. Karen/Miles was a toss up. Henry/Christina and Brett/Olivia were a hell no.

this season Vince/Briana are definite yes for me. Clara/Ryan and Erik/Virginia are toss ups. Jacob/Haley and Chris/Paige are definite no’s on decision day.

Like we all peeped with yo, this dude Chris recently scammed or hit a big lick and he got on his new money ****...From everything coming out he been doing a lot in the past year, wildin out cuz he got a lil bread now :lol :{

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. I would think him being homeless living in his car would humble him.

Finally caught up

This dude Chris is like the Pat Mahomes of MAFS. Put his jersey in the rafters asap

Ninja would tell us there's actually two interracial couples on this show

but Vincent and Briana a whole vibe rn.

I hate the term having "tradional values". We all know that means

And Jacob really loves the flag...

Just judging off each couples very first reactions you can kinda tell who will at least say yes on DD

They picked him for pure *******. Sad thing is, in the subtext of this, he's preying on Paige's dark skinned woman insecurity and his dumb *** family reinforces this. I really feel bad for her that she got a raw deal (no pun intended).

Yeah, the having sex part is bad on her, and from the clips, she let him smash daily...not smart on her part.
I feel like, she gets treated like the ugly chick with the banging body often so she's prolly more physical to win guys over, which we know never really works. She's reverting to those habits here, which should be different cus she married, but unfortunately is just more of the same...

Bruh. What the hell was he thinking coming on this show? He’s getting all the way exposed. This is embarrassing.

From what I understand he was recruited to be on the show so maybe he wasn't aware of the show's popularity and he didn't think the fan base would go digging up stuff on him. That's my only explanation because if I didn't have my affairs in order, there's no way I'm putting my face on national TV like this.
