🦅 THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES THREAD 🦅 | Salute to Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox

So out of the 3 NFC South teams who do we want to play the most?

Who will give us the most trouble?

Bucs, Saints, Falcons.
I’d prefer the Falcons or Saints because their QB’s are awful. But regardless I think our defense is making everyone look all world lately

I’ll never understand how the d line looks so bad the second half of the season. There’s no way it’s all because of them being tired. Sweat and Davis haven't made a memorable play in a full month. That is wild to me

It’s shh like this why you cant take people seriously

soon as the people who are supposed the benefit from his play get worse we gotta hear about dude.. and that’s on top of the over usage

“They did not apply this principle to their defensive coordinator hiring. They seemingly had their minds set on a Vic Fangio-style defense, and when Fangio himself slipped through their fingers they instead found Sean Desai, who was a branch on the Fangio tree. Some of the other branches on the Fangio tree include Joe Barry, Joe Woods, Ed Donatell, Sean Desai, Jonathan Gannon, and Brandon Staley.

Here's how those guys fared in defensive DVOA:

• Joe Woods, Saints: 16th
• Vic Fangio, Dolphins: 19th
• Ed Donatell, Vikings (2022): 24th
• Sean Desai, Eagles: 27th
• Joe Barry, Packers: 28th
• Brandon Staley, Chargers: 29th
• Jonathan Gannon, Cardinals: 32nd

Donatell and Staley are currently unemployed, Desai is stashed in "Storage Closet B" somewhere in the basement of the NovaCare Complex, and there's a good chance Barry will be fired when the Packers' season is over.

Offenses around the league have figured out how to beat Fangio's style of defense and they have punished it all season.“

seen someone talking about bringing in Brandon Staley in the off-season… and all I could think was it’s nick’s funeral

ownership will give him this offseason to try to get shh right, if that’s the best idea he got, might need to pull a Doug

Our best bet at DC was Saleh getting fired and taking the job before getting another shot at HC elsewhere. But jets already said he's staying

Context is the corners being so far off?

Actually giving guys a chance at succeeding

Think of how many snaps we to the LB on the line to supposedly create confusion when all is does is end up with guys chasing

I’m just trying understand having whoever is dropping from the line play catch-up while safeties are out of the picture

On 3rd and 5

It's crazy that we used to get frustrated by Gannon's dumb *** "sticks" defense on 3rd and 10 that got beat so many times and now we have DCs that play zone defense 6 yards deep on a 3rd and 4

Obviously not important now, but posting to watch next week

didnt realize he left pff
