I know some people don't like the new "rules" regardless, you have to respect what he's doing. 5 weeks at number 1 for an hip-hop artist is HUGE! Yes he makes pop songs, however, he's seen as hip-hop artist.
To play devil advocate though, he hasn't been number 1 on the pure album sales charts since week 2. IF Beyonce were to release her album on all srtreaming platforms (apple music, spotify etc...) she would have been number 1 on the overall sales charts. She's been out selling Drake on the pure sales charts for last 3-4 weeks. Having said all that, still have to respect what Drake is doing!
