I think subject matter more than anything. Sonically the album is good, but we’ve gotten the same rehashed topics from Drake. It doesn’t sound bad and it “works” for his fanbase and brand, but we’ve heard a lot of this before

I feel you, but we havent gotten this much sad Drake in a while. This is what I would have expected an album called CLB to sound like. This is a guy confused as to why happiness still eludes him when from his perspective it shouldnt being that he has everything and gives people everything.

I agree with the CLB take. This could’ve been packaged as CLB and it would’ve fit the “theme” better. Again I think this album is good, people were mislead (by their own fault) thinking we were getting something different

I hear you, but I still think it's fine. Thats legitimately his life, and how he's moving at present. And there's still the "I tell you everything I do, and you lie to me constantly" angle which is one of substance.

I blame him too. This is easily the worst Drake album rollout. From the statements he made, to the delays, the weird drop time, I've seen valid points about the lack of promotion he did after it dropped, the rants, all of it.

I keep seeing the question asked so let's end any speculation...

Mirna Habib @ babymirnz is used in the song Calling For You (she is the woman talking in the middle) because she is discussing her time spent with Dillion Brooks and making fun of him with Drake.

Shut the **** up. Let's expose to the world how my home girl was out here rinsing you out of money. Speculation over. That's why she's on the song. That's the main reason behind the Dillion Brooks saga. Yes Drake is that petty.
