I'm sure everybody would have said the same thing regarding Utah and Alabama,
true to an extent, but I distinctly remember tellin yall Alabama does not have athletes like you think they do.
I said they dont have no game changers that can rip off long runs

They don't have anybody who can really scare a defense or like a threat to score at any time type player. But JJ is a game changer to me because nobody cancover him. Even if he is slow.

Miami would be lucky if they go 2-2 in their 1st four games.
The FSU game is a toss-up. FSU o-line SHOULD improve but they only have two proven weapons in Bert Reed and Jermaine Thomas.
GT is a L for canes. Triple Option with Jonathon Dwyer, Roddy Smith, and L-ville transfer Anthony Allen is going to be too much.
VT is a winnable game if canes can stop Darren Evans and Ryan Williams. Tyrod Taylor is too turnover prone to beat anyone by himself.
Oklahoma is automatic L. Too many weapons on the O and 8 starters back on D.
I say 1-3 with the win being over FSU or VT

But yeah, I can see y'all hanging w/ OU (Provided y'all secondary is VASTLY improved from last year and Telemaque is as good as y'all hype him upto be). But if Jacory is the same QB he was last year, y'all ain't winning that game.

FSU has two somewhat proven (but not fully) weapons in Jermaine Thomas and Bert Reed. JT has yet to show that he can be 'the man' though he has shownglimpses in backup duty. But then again, so did Antone. I think JT is more suited for our running style than Antone was, but still.

And I refuse to peg Bert as a full threat until he's able to stay on the field and keep his #$% out of trouble w/ them suspensions he has last year.

Fact of the matter is, our two best players are a CB and A Guard. If people don't step up this year, it can be a long season and I can easily see us w/ 5-6losses.

and unc & fsu should've at least been a split...but luck didnt run our way

The only thing I worry about with them is their D-line vs. our O-line. If our O-line actually blocks well we will have no trouble winning that game.
Ya. but on the other side of the coin, UM's OL is some horse $%*#.

if we beat fsu in game 1 on the road then we're going to be 3-0 heading into the oklahoma game...i can damn near promise that...if we lose then we'regonna be 2-2 after the first four games....and yea we ended real weak last year but the marve distractions killed the team...

I mean jesus christ, they put up damn near a half a grand rushing against y'all.

Dunkley has now taken unofficial visits to Alabama, Florida and Georgia just to name a few. However, he still would like to check out a few more teams in the summer.

"I would like to take a visit to Ohio State and Southern California because I have solid interest in both of those teams, but I'm not sure when I can get over there."

Decision time?
When we last spoke with Dunkley, he hinted that he will probably wait and make his decision after the season or even at an all-star game. But FlaVarsity.com has learned that might not be the case anymore.

"The decision is going to be sooner than people think. I mean it's not going to be in two weeks or anything like that, but it will be soon. I'm going to take a full week visit to Florida and a full week visit to Florida State to just get a feel for how the players are treated at each school. Those trips will happen this summer, but I don't have a date yet for them. Shortly after those visits I will sit down with my Mom and Dad to breakdown the schools and come to a decision. It's going to be very hard because I've gotten very close with many coaches. I still have mixed feelings about the recruiting process because in a way I've always loved it, but in other ways, it wears you down. I will also attend both the Friday Night Lights event at Florida and the Seminole Showtime at FSU. I feel pretty good that I will be ready to make my decision before the end of the summer though."

As far as a leader, Dunkley isn't ready to release one at this point.

"I just don't want to be the type that likes a school one week and then changes back and forth. That's not fair to the schools. So, when I'm ready to announce my decision, I'll do it that way. The fact is, sometimes I like a school more this week and vice versa another week."

But I'm thoroughly surprised about the trip to FSU not just for the Seminole Showcase.

We're not beating GT. Our D can't stop them. Only way is if we put up 30-40 points and outscore them. I doubt our O, with a brand new OC, will behumming by the 2nd game of the season so it's not likely. But hey...anything is possible.

Where did I say it wasn't? I mean, we took y'all behing the woodshed for the majority of the game last year then y'all came back andwe only won by two. I'd say that the game is a definite toss up. So to call it an outright dub for either team is crazy to me.

Please point out where I said that Ponder was good or that our receivers were either? I literally just said that our best candidate for a weapon(who plays wr) is shaky at best. How could you glean the fact that I think our WR's are anything special from what I said?
