As a Canes fan I beleive we will be 2-2 after that tough for game stretch. We will lose to both GT and OU, our O-line is simply not good enough yet to hangwith OU and GT's triple option is nearly unstoppable when executed right
However I do beleive that our O will be alot better, Whipple is 100X the coach Nix was and with the implementation of a pro-style offence, this team shouldimprove. We just need our D to come up big, its time for Brown, VT, Futch and all those dudes from the 08' class to start contributing

He says his recruiting is still wide open. And Randy's making him a priority so we're recruiting him hard. I think he'll be a Cane when it'sall said and done. I'd be shocked if he went somewhere else.

Tmay he was gonna visit this weekend but he's not now. We have several guys for the de/lb spot that he would most likely play. I kind of hope they slowplay him for a bit. I kind of feel like half of our class so far are kids we could have taken as second options.

Ponder aint nuffin special and we mite have a weak secondary but your recievers are horrible
Yall fools in here dnt give the Canes credit at all

The RW thing might be bold, but I really do think he is a LEGIT playmaker. You might be scared of him by the time we play you. And Tyrod is gonna throw toBoykin, Roberts, and maybe Logan Thomas, Marcus Davis, or DJ Coles. We actually are gonna have some great receivers over the next couple years. As negative asI've been about our O before, I'm actually optimistic that Stinespring won't even be able to screw it up with all the talent we have now. IFF theline is good this year, we might even crack the top 75 in offense

The thing is, we've had him for like eight years now. And I've gone back and watched some of our older games back when we had a good O-line and decentQB and our offense looked a lot better. Last year was more inexperience than anything, and 07 our line just sucked. If you go back to last year, we had allfreshmen starting at WR. Against UNC we had to call timeouts back to back because the receivers weren't lined up properly. I've never been one to makeexcuses for our OC (in fact I'm i like 8 Facebook groups petitioning to have him fired) but he didn't have much to work with last year.
I really think having a home run hitter like Ryan Williams and having red zone potential in DJ Coles, Marcus Davis, and Logan Thomas is going to be huge.

Hendrix is overrated. He's a Cincy kid that I've gotten to see a few times last year.
Canes have to turn it around this year.

He went to Milford prep and a fantastic athlete. I highly doubt that he ends up at RB with the guys on our board (I'd expect us to end upwith Mack and Grant).
Unkown because he didn't camp or do any of that. That is how you get your name out there unless you become a youtube legend. It's nice to take guyswith huge upside because we have the depth to have them sit for a couple of years.

I don't see how Miami is going to score points on VT. You can't blame all of your offensive troubles on Nix. There are far more problemsthan your OC.
Tyrod will be the best offensive player on the field in that game. They had high turnover at WR last year which killed their passing game. Another year ofgrowth, coaching, and chemistry with their QB can only help.
It doesn't matter if you shut Evans down last year. GT carved you guys up last year on the ground. Based on your logic they will do it again, right?
Coaching matters Beemer is a million times better than Shannon. Also Blacksburg is one of the toughest places to play in the nation.
VT is the better team overall, more experience, a better coach, and home field. I don't see how Miami wins this game.

This aint your 05-07canes...we acually have threats on offense now.
We have one of the if not the best WR corps in the ACC and a good trio of Running backs
You point out growth and potential...dont yout think all our freshman will be a tad bit better this season?
Dont you think Jacory might have grown as a player in the off season?
aint no arguing the coaching...Beamer is better period
But havin Jacory, Aldarious, Spence, Mrob, Benjamin, and Bryd a year older is SCARY
And i aint even mention Forston, Streeter, VT....
VT could easily pull out the W but its not the lock you guys claim...
