Marcus Lattimore recently changed up his visit plans, and USC will benefit as a result.
The Gamecocks host their Showcase camp this coming weekend, and will now have two of their biggest targets in Lattimore and teammate
Nick Jones on campus.

Lattimore will be on USC's campus yet again this weekend | |
"We're going to visit on Friday and then work out for the coaches on Saturday," Lattimore told GamecockCentral.com. "We're going to go to Penn State next Friday."
A recent report quoted Lattimore as saying that Oregon, North Carolina, and Penn State were going to make his final cut, and he said the same on Tuesday night.
"The other two will come in the next couple of weeks," he said.
Lattimore plans on keeping only one of the in-state programs on his list. Does he know yet who it will be?
"I don't know yet, but I should know after this week," he said.
The big-time running back, rated the seventh-best player in the country by Rivals.com, has a great relationship with the coaching staff at USC and spoke with GamecockCentral.com about a few of them.
"Coach
(Steve) Spurrier, he's just straight-forward," Lattimore said. "He is confident in getting the offense to the next level and has let me know that."
South Carolina defensive line coach
Brad Lawing recruits the Upstate for Carolina and has drawn a lot of respect from the talented back.
"Coach Lawing has been my man for the longest and he's been recruiting me the longest," he said. "He's a good guy."
Jay Graham has done a great job building a relationship with Lattimore after the departure of former running backs coach
Robert Gillespie.
"Coach Graham is a real cool guy and he knows what it takes to go the NFL because he played there," he said.
Eric Wolford recently impressed Lattimore on an unofficial visit to South Carolina.
"He is cool also," he said of USC's offensive line coach. "He's real intense. He's bringing in some good o-linemen and I'm confident he can help get the offense where it needs to be."
Lattimore has obviously noticed that Carolina has landed seven offensive lineman in an already impressive recruiting class.
"Oh, it's awesome," he observed of USC's Class of 2010. "They are bringing in good o-linemen and I am excited about that. I talk with
A.J. (Cann),
Tramell (Williams), and
(Eric) Mack a good bit and they just tell me that they will pave the way and hold the line up."
Lattimore also talks with two other recruits that could be handing off to him in the future.
"I talk with
Connor Shaw and
Dylan Thompson too," he said.
Perhaps the biggest obstacle USC has to overcome in Lattimore's recruitment is showing him that South Carolina is committed to improving their run game, and it looks like they are well on their way to doing so.
"I am excited," he said. "I think they are committed to the run game and with the addition of Coach Wolford the sky is the limit."
For those expecting an early decision from Lattimore, don't hold your breath, as he said he would likely not make his decision decision until the day before Signing Day.
