Until he signs, I'm not buying anything he says about one school over another.

He's been giving high praises to everywhere he goes. Oregon, LSU, Tennessee, Miami...

Is he a clown? Yes...

Is he a good football player? Yes, he's that too

Might as well go ahead and chalk up another stud commitment for the Longhorns...

Adrian White is set to announce on Friday...and he'll be doing it on Geoff Ketchum's radio show. No reason anybody would do that (or Ketchum would letanybody do that) unless they were going to commit to Texas...

I doubt he would've gotten into UM w/o greyshirting. But it's spilled milk now. I did hear there was some shady stuff with him gettinginto LSU though.

Bobby Bowden done at FSU? Dadgummit.

Jamar Hornsby is at it again...what a bum.

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A Mississippi football signee with a history of legal trouble faces an uncertain future after hewas arrested on charges he assaulted a man at a McDonald's drive-through with brass knuckles.
Starkville police arrested Jamar Hornsby on March 1 and charged him with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor petit larceny after he and two fellow East Mississippi Community College teammates allegedly assaulted the man.
The 22-year-old Hornsby is already on probation after taking a plea deal in a misdemeanor credit card fraud case that occurred while he was on theUniversity of Florida football team. Hornsby signed a national letter of intent with the Rebels in February, but his future with the team is now uncertain.

"We are looking into the matter and trying to gather all the facts," Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt said Monday. "Once all the facts are in, Iwill make a decision."

Hornsby, a safety, was expected to compete immediately for a starting job with the Rebels, who had depth issues in the secondary last season. But an earlymorning fender-bender could change all of that.

Starkville police Det. Maurice Johnson said Hornsby, Darrell Simmons and Robert Jordan were arrested around 2:15 a.m. March 1 after an unidentified manrear-ended his vehicle as both waited for service.

Johnson said the drivers of each car spoke briefly. One of the three football players then took something from the victim, and Hornsby attacked the victimshortly after.

The victim, whose name is being withheld for his own protection, went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Johnson said that the victim and Hornsby did not know each other, and that the attack was related to the accident.

Hornsby is free after posting $15,500 bond and faces up to 20 years in prison on the aggravated assault charge alone. He also likely violated his probationby possessing brass knuckles, which are illegal. He faces up to four years in prison if he fails to complete probation.

An attorney for Hornsby did not immediately return a phone message left Monday.

Florida state attorney Bill Cervone said Hornsby could be headed to prison if it's determined that he violated probation there.

Police arrested Hornsby in May 2007 on felony charges of improper use of a credit card after he made nearly 70 fraudulent charges on the gas card of aFlorida student who died in a motorcycle accident six months earlier. The state attorney's office later reduced the charges to misdemeanors, but not beforeHornsby was dismissed from the football team.

He accepted a plea deal in December on four misdemeanor charges and avoided jail time. He was ordered to pay nearly $9,000 in restitution and court costs. The judge also ordered him to tour the Florida State Prison in Raiford and write an essay about his experiences.

At the time of the plea deal, Cervone said: "I hope the defendant understands the harm he's created that goes far beyond just using somebody'scredit card under these circumstances."

He said Monday in a phone interview with The Associated Press from his Gainesville office that it is "always disappointing" when a persongiven a second chance through a plea deal is arrested again.

Hornsby was expected to join the Rebels after graduating from EMCC later this year. The school is located in Scooba, which is near Starkville.

Hornsby played one season with the Gators before being dismissed. He played in eight games and had five tackles, but was suspended for five games forselling his complimentary tickets, a violation of NCAA rules.

He had 111 tackles and two interceptions this season for EMCC and was named the MVP of the Mississippi junior college northern region.

Hornsby is the lowest form of scum.

More fun with Coach Kiffin...

Talking to Alshon Jeffrey the night before NSD...

Kiffin was equally dogged. But when it was obvious that Jeffrey wasn't going to Tennessee, Kiffin took off the gloves.

According to Jeffrey and Wilson, Kiffin told Jeffrey that if he chose the Gamecocks, he would end up pumping gas for the rest of his life like all the other players from that state who had gone to South Carolina.

Jeffrey was doing his best to stay awake at that point, but that comment from Kiffin woke him up. He clearly hasn't forgotten it, either.

"He said it, but it's not worth talking about," Jeffrey said.

kiffin is such a douche... i hope they get murked all over the field this year... guy is wayyy to cocky for having done nothing if importance, except embarrasshimself with the raiders

Hornsby is crazy....Man, that dude has that Safety spot on LOCK.

Now he may not even be on the team anymore.

Clemson is trying everything to turn the Byrnes kids.Reply

Florida State needs to get in touch with them ASAP to undo the BS that the Clemson staff has put in their heads.

Brandon Willis is under the assumption that FSU can't play in a bowl game, or play for championships now.

Marcus Lattimore has soured on us as well.

I haven't heard anything from Corey Miller yet.

There's no doubt that they filled Denzel McCoy's head with BS as well.

How exactly did Lane Kiffin embarrass himself with the Raiders?

But he's going at everybody's throats with some of these comments...

Kiffin ain't about to hold any punches...

Jim Rome was joking about this earlier on his radio show...he said if Kiffin is doing this now, without ever coaching an SEC game, imagine what he's gonnabe like in a couple of years if he actually has won something...

Off topic, but what does "greyshirting" exactly mean? I've heard it before but it's one of the things i never understood.....

And Shannon putting in work with getting an OL early.

Hopefully we get some more local OL since its one of those rare years that Miami/Broward have some top OL available.

Greyshirting is basically where a kid enrolls in January of the following year instead of enrolling in the fall/summer of the current year.

Say I commit to UM (

) in Feb, 09. I'll get greyshirted and enroll inJanuary of 2010 instead of summer 09. And my scholarship will count towards the 2010 recruits, not the 2009 recruits.

And for that fall 09 I can only take a certain number of credit hours (if any) if I take over a certain amount my eligiblity clock will start.

A few of A&M's recruits from the '09 class are "greyshirting"...they're paying their own way for the Fall '09 semester, then willtake on a 2010 scholarship as an "early enrollee" type deal in Spring '10.
