Wonder how long it is before somebody scoops up coach Ken. He's got young children in school though so i don't know if he'd leave.

Cam Newton to Auburn...

top quarterback cameron newton, a 6-foot-6, 245-pound prospect from blinn cc, texas, has committed to the tigers. Newton, originally from westlake (atlanta, ga.), had narrowed his choices to auburn, mississippi state and oklahoma.

"as an athlete, my job is to make the best decision for me and just put it all out on the table," newton told espn affiliate web site auburnundercover.com. "i'm not in high school anymore. I'm a junior college kid that has two years to fulfill my dreams as a college football player."

Cam should do well there. Hopefully they will beat Bama the 2 years he's playing.

I wanted to see MSU with a decent QB for the first time in 20 years.

Make it happen.

We're not even recruiting him anymore and he's never taken a visit here or had an in-home from us.....sooo..... He's basically a Duck.

When?

He's committing during the damn UA game....which he's in practice for now.... when the hell is he going to visit? After he commits to Oregon or PSU?Not likely. OOS kids rarely commit to a school without taking a visit there. Easley won't be any different.

I gotta believe he keeps his commit to Penn State.

Why he wait so late in the process to de-commit? Im not understanding that logic

Eric berry announced he's taking his talents to the NFL...
BY DREW EDWARDS
UTSports.com

ATLANTA - Thursday night's Chick-fil-A Bowl marked the end of several Tennessee careers.

And that includes All-America safety Eric Berry.

Berry announced that he will forgo his senior season to enter April's NFL, hardly a surprise move by one of the Vols' most decorated players and a consensus top-five pick according to draft analysts.

"It's really hard," Berry said. "I think that's why it took me so long to get out here. I really don't want to leave, but I feel like it's just something I needed to do to help my family. Just to see how hard my parents have worked over the last 18 years (and) raising my brothers, I fell like this is something I can do to help them just sit down and relax and show my appreciation for what they've done for me."

Happy New Year my people!

Like what I am hearing in practice reports about Devin. Sounds like he might not have much of a wait to showcase what he has. If he can come in this winterthat would be so big for us. Wouldn't mind he and Tate sharing snaps with Denard catching passes and spreading the field.

Alright, after a shower, some aspirin, a couple cups of coffee and a greasy breakfast...I'm ready to lay on the couch and watch FB for 12 hours.
