He should be on the phone with Chris Petersen right now, convincing him to leave the comfort of the Smurf Turf and run the program.

Instead this fool wants Mike +#!!%%! Riley

Garrett needs to thank his lucky stars that Carroll landed on his lap in 2001, 'cause dude is clueless when it comes to hiring and firing big name coaches.

The list:

Paul Hackett
John Robinson II
Rick Majerus
Tim Floyd
Henry Bibby

Same thing I heard, the only loss I heard as of now is that we probably have no chance at Powell. Everyone else is still coming, but I wont believe it until Signing Day.

Mike Garrett may not even make the hire

everything i heard is he is gone next year. so why would USC let him make the hire?

if PC leaves PLZZZZ take Norton with you.

whatever helps UCLA steal some recruits im all for

Any word on Todd McNair?

will he stay in the land of Troy? I know CLK is still looking for a RB coach since the Tampa Bay Bucs staff have all been retained

That's sUCkLA's only chance.

I'm hearing everything from Carroll staying to Petersen, to Fisher to Del Rio....

I don't know about Garrett having no say, if that was the case, why is Mike Riley's name still being thrown out there.

McKnight going to the draft. So now USC is going to get off scott free again with the NCAA violations. This is some BS
I'm touching on this pretty late, but I saw this when I was browsing on my phone, and just

This is a Miami fan crying about violations.

Not a clean University, but a freaking Miami U fan, the %**@#$% irony.

Dude seems seriously bent that USC hasn't been touched.

I know they got tagged after the Dennis Erickson era.

Dude is a fan of one of the dirtiest football programs in college football history and he's crying about violations.

These dudes recently changed the way players get recruited *cough* Willie Williams *cough*

Heard nothing about McNair or any of the other coaches.

Ken Norton is single-handedly keeping this class together right now.

Demetrius Wright was going to commit to SC tomorrow but he just cancelled his announcement. Going to wait it out till everything clears up. Same goes forGeorge Uko.

D.J. Morgan looks shaky according to multiple sources.

Robert Woods is still committed to SC. He's the most stable recruit at the moment. THANK GOODNESS.

Kyle Prater is still expected to enroll in classes on Monday

Powell is set to commit to Florida tomorrow.

You really believe that? Talent is still misevaluated all the time even with all of the recruiting sites.

yea there a few guys who slip thru the cracks without a doubt.

that 2 star Cain guy is not one of them.
laugh.gif

and also this is a reason why I dont think R Shannon is doing a good job. All the talent in Miami that theyve turned away, and they go and give a scholly to a2 star kid from Cali

huh?
u cant tell me theres a 3* or even a 2* kid rite smack dab in the middle of Miami that coulda got that scholly and helped build credit with a local HS coach

SAN ANTONIO --- When four-star defensive tackle Brandon Willis departed for San Antonio at the beginning of this week, he had planned to announce his decision to enroll at UNC during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Heavy pressure from Tennessee-bound prospects throughout the week has led him to second-guess his decision. Now, multiple sources are telling Inside Carolina that Willis' college destination is "up in the air" between Tennessee and UNC.

Despite speculation that Willis' father is influencing the decision, he has told his son that this is his decision and he'll support it. Meanwhile, Willis' father has been in constant contact with UNC throughout the week.

Willis still plans to announce his decision during Saturday's game.

Posted just after midnight on inside carolina from a mod....

One of the most credible "insiders" for UNC said as late as yesterday that Willis was a done deal to UNC, but this report makes me somewhat weary. One part of me wants to believe that he is trying to add some drama to his commitment but then again who knows what Tennessee and Kiffin threw at him over thatpast few days.

I still think Willis will be at Carolina, but this is shaping up to be another Sam Montgomery/Arthur Brown situation.

Only time will tell....

demetrius wright sticking with SC. announcing at army game. SC recruits there have gone through whirlwind.

seantrel to buckeyes.

Is Saban actually smiling?!?! My dude couldn't even crack a grin onthe verge of a NC win and gettin' hit with the Gatorade

Good stuff. Next up is Hicks and Anderson. Is it true that Jordan Hicks' order right now is Texas, O$U, and UF respectively?

Heard Latwan is really thinking about WV right now. But when Ginn tells him to go to O$U he will have to listen.

h0urs whats the word on Baxter?

He solid or looking @ Michigan and UF?

Scroggins looking around any?

Prater should stay with SC he would be most effective in a pro style offense with Barkley

If I had to guess Baxter probably ends up at Michigan.

But I'm praying UF can somehow pull a miracle.

Agreed. IMO that's an excuse.

Just looking at our two teams, look at guys like Gilyard and Collaros for you, or Kam Chancellor and Cody Grimm on VT. Gilyard was a 2* recruit with a 4.9ranking...now he's one of the best receivers in the country. If the coaches are good talent evaluators and player developers, they will get what they needto out of their guys.

ND QB commit Andrew Hendrix is in UF this weekend for an official.

LSU has let OC Gary Crowton go and Steve Kragthorpe will be their OC

Dunlap is going pro he is driving a 730 BMW around Gville and Joe Haden is pushing a Maserati

I thought those car reports were a Joke when I read it on Rivals board yesterday

ironman you sound really dumb......bringing up miami and violations.........that $+!% was in the 90's......its 2010.........get off our +**$

Crazy. They better get while they gettin is good since the shelf life on NFL players is short.

Hope to God we can get Baxter. He could come right in and grab a spot at RB. Nobody has an edge and Vinny Smith is repairing an ACL. Hopefully our coaches canget in contact.

Farrell just said Prater will not be enrolling Monday at $C. Heard DJ Morgan is looking around.

Honestly, how many ships does UF plan on giving out???? They have 21 committed right now, Elam, Powell, Floyd brings it to 24. Hicks and Hendrix are alsolooking. I thought the max was 25 with no ability to roll ships back a class with early enrollees.

what's dumb is that you don't realize it's a response. Baxter is solid. Apparently the rumor is that he will bolt if Pete pulls a Billy Donovan. Hefeels betrayed by PC.

Solid commitment or solid prospect? EDIT: Oh yeah, UF getting Shariff, Elam and Powell today along with Easley and Dunk last weekend is nothing short ofamazing considering Urban is not going to be the "coach".
