from what i heard, odom is willing to sign for less to stay in LA.
that should leave extra cap for ariza. these two guys are crucial for LA to repeat!

I hate your team, but i'll be there full force for the parade with the SLR and camcorder and see what's up. I've got vivid memories of being afreshman being all up in there

Obviously, our two main priorities are to resign Ariza and Odom.

I definitely think the Lakers should consider resigning Shannon Brown as well, since he'll come at a reasonably cheap price.
 
Hopefully we can keep both Ariza and Odom. Odom said he'll take less money and I read somewhere that Kobe is willing to take less money also. Hope its trueand that we can keep this group together. Is Phil's contract up this year also or next?
 
1. Draft a big man or point guard.

2. Re-sign Ariza.

3. Try and re-sign LO.

I heard during the broadcast it's up after the '10, but he still needs to decide on next season dependent on his health

Re-negotiate Kobe's contract. (for less money)

Shannon should be back.

I read there won't be a parade. The city has no loot to spend on that.

As long as we can re-sign Ariza and Odom (and when is Brown up?) we are straight for awhile.

but as for the offseason, i think ariza would get james posey money. so a little above the MLE. ~6 mill. especially with everyone saving for 2010.
i hope odom takes a paycut too so he can stay.
i also hope kobe reworks his deal so that odom and ariza can both be signed.

i dont see anything stopping us from repeating. barring injuries were the same team (if everyone resigns).
bynum can get back into form. he plays great coming off the offseason.
kobe and gasol finally getting their rest.

definetely gonna be a long offseason.
