The ABA tried this the last couple years of its existence. Every foul after the 6th was two shots and the ball. It was a disaster. Dudes were averaging like 10 fouls per game. It slowed it down to the point it was unwatchable.
Good point. The last thing we need is even MORE whistles and stoppages of play.

Players just fouling to stop ANY layup or easy shot attempt.  No thanks
gunna have hack a dwight all game long

ppl wanting unlimited fouls are really dumb
Yea that's ridiculous. The only revision i think they should do is add an extra foul to foul out when a game goes to Overtime

Foolish...no way the clips are worth 1.7 bil. Sterling would be crazy to turn that down. 700 mil- 1billion tops...
First off, the offer is reportedly $1.8 billion. Second, what YOU think the Clippers are worth, and what a crazy, basketball obsessed billionaire will pay for them, are two completely different things. Did you not see how much the Bucks just sold for? THE BUCKS!
If Ballmer is able to purchase the Clippers without any no-relocation clause, what % would you put on the Clippers moving to Seattle??

Contemplating bumping the Bring Back the Sonics Movement thread

If the Clippers move become the Sonics again and take the rights.

OKC loses that championship, right.

Read an article today that they're expecting Lance to suggest a $10mill contract this offseason.. if that's the case his *** is gone :lol.

I don't want to see him leave, but at the same time that's kind of a hefty price tag. We ****** up by giving George Hill $8 mill per year :{

Damn looks like Ballmer is the frontrunner to get the Clips.  Probably should've befriended his son when he lived two doors down from me in my freshman dorm

If the garbage second round exit clippers clippers are worth 2mill imagine how much other teams are worth.
Lakers didnt eem get in the playoffs and prolly worth more than that garbage :rollin

He may have won the bidding war, but he still has to be approved by the other owners. I see them choosing an LA-based group over him for a slightly lower amount, with a handshake agreement to give him an expansion team once the new TV deal is set.

I hope this is the case with him driving up the price for the Clips for the league
