the greatest thing about being a dwight hater is that i can tune into a dwight howard game at any time and watch how trash he is, the guy is an idiot on and off the court.

cant say that about CP3, dude can ball i just dont like the way he acts

exactly how i feel.

we must be brothers

Lots of ridiculous statements in here... Wow.

Average at least 25 and 15 while being an elite defensive center? And if you don't you're trash?

So basically if you aren't one of the 50 greatest players of all time, you're trash.

Man I just realized homie said he thinks dwight should be 20 and 20 :rollin :rollin :rollin come on man, y'all can't be serious with this "sucking" business.

Jimmer Fredette big 4th quarter minutes helping the kings come back in the fourth right now :hat :hat

i now see the problem. y'all are expecting dwight to put up numbers that shaq, karl malone, bill russell, james worthy, and kareem abdul jabbar never put up :rollin :rollin :rollin

Dwight isn't consistent or confident. Or consistent at being confident. It's almost like he's afraid to succeed. He has glimpses of greatness, followed by a flood of follies. I shudder when I hear him referred to as the best C in the league. Most athletic, yes. Defensive presence? Sure. But dude just doesn't live up to his potential on a regular basis.

I'm reeeeeally liking the heart displayed by the Celtics. Jeff green may have a breakout year, similar to Paul georges last year.

while i dont expect 25 and 15. he has no offensive skill but he should lead the league in rebounds by a large margin. look how big, agile, and athletic this guy is. hes pretty wide too with those shoulder and arms. hes doing something wrong.

this guy should have been putting in work since day one on offense. its pathetic, SRS

While what you're saying is valid (I actually agree with most of what you said) people should have looked at who he was when he came into the league. He has never been this fluid and agile basketball player. To think he was going to all of a sudden go from rigid, predictable and stiff to swift and versatile was wrong from jump.

But...the point is he produces at an all NBA Level. He can't "suck" :lol

i agree with a lot of this. it's unfortunate that he hasn't ever developed a true offensive game, but with that flaw in his game he still produces comparable if not better than most of his peers.

Okay, Shaq.
lol for a guy that tall and jump that high he could get 18-20 boards a night if he's smart. Unfortunately he's neither smart or good. Also look how many times he get foul per game and sent to the line. That's at least 10-14 freebie points per night right there if he could make them. Unfortunately he couldn't because he sucks

. D12=trash to me.
Never see why this dude made the allstar over guys like Hibbert, Demarcus etc. Must be shoeking who voted him in.

Lillard shooting 1-15 :x

There it is :lol
The reason why people say that is because the current era is so weak for big men compared to the past.

Dwight is easily the most athletic/physically imposing player at his position in the league right now. I'm not saying he should be putting up 20/20 but he should at least be able to establish himself as a 'dominant' #1 option on offense. He was just a 'good' #1 option in Orlando, and since then he's only declined in that capacity. His defense is obviously elite, it's his offensive shortcomings that are troubling.

hibbert and demarcus have never shot 50% in a whole season. Dwight's career low was his rookie year, at 52%

if this era of big men is weak, and dwight produces at a similar level to most of his peers, does that mean they all suck too?

Sheesh Turner has been playing like a damn All-Star. Never thought I'd say that in my life.

Maybe because those guys aren't responsible for any 50 win seasons?

Maybe because those guys have yet to produce at a level of Dwight Howard's when you consider his previous impact on a team's win total?

Maybe because...awe man forget it. i don't even know why I'm going back and fourth with you G :lol you out here saying an all nba performer "sucks" because he can't "easily grab 20 rebounds a night"...listen to yourself man.

you got it.

33pts and 12reb for Cousins in 31 minutes.  also a nice game from Ben Mac. dude is gonna be a solid player. everyone else on our team can kick rocks

Yeah. He's been extremely impressive as a primary scoring option. Showing a variety of ways that he can score. Hopefully he can keep it up for an entire season.

Keep that Logic out of here.

While I think with Brooklyn they're gonna be decent and just working out the kinks right now (with KG your D will always keep you in the game), I think Houston is gonna be Lakers from last year all over again.

LOL all he does is dunk, his % should be 99%

speaking of Cousins, he is averaging 23.5ppg and 9.6rpg so far this year.  and he only played 18mins one game and 29 in another so those numbers could be even nicer!

i agree that they are going to be a letdown but there is no way they will have as many players get hurt as we did last year. i think they finish 5th in the west

you got it.
2009 is like 5 years ago my man. He was good in 2009 and that's about it. But I'm talking about last year and now.

and Dwight didn't do anything that warrant him as an all star performer imo.  If the ref send you to the line 7-9 times a game for FREE buckets and you cant even make them that mean you just suck. lol NO excuses
