When Georgia Tech scored near the end of the 4th, I couldn't help but to think of Sam getting ready for that sprint home :lol

:lol :lol I was nowhere near Lane for this one. Jesus, that game was awful. For those of you who didn't watch, congratulations.

I'm glad we won I guess but it's hard to come away from that game feeling very good. GT's D looked pretty good considering who they were without, but even so our offense just looks completely bereft of playmakers. Coles was the only receiver I felt good about this year and he wasn't even supposed to be back til October coming off knee surgery. He played that game at like 70% and then injures the other knee :lol Davis just isn't a natural football player and the rest of the WR's are pretty much scrubs.

OL was below average as usual which I expected. The dropoff at RB from David Wilson is huge. Logan looked pretty bad, his accuracy was putrid all game aside from the TD's and a couple other throws. He was sailing them all night.

I think the defense will keep us in a lot of games but it looks like it's gonna be a long year that's boring as hell to watch.

Watched the Bama vs Michigan game... don't want to hear nuffin', Michigan got worked the entire game, I'm talking about outplayed and punked.

Bama was hitting them boys hard, Wolverines basically curled up in the fetal position. Still don't think they are not doing themselves any favors by having Denard at QB. I hear what Newbs said, but you're telling me Hoke couldn't bring a QB in and just roll with a true freshman and let him take lumps. Put Denard in some type of multi-role position where he gets touches. His biggest weakness is throwing the ball, strength is having the ball in his hands. In 18+ months they couldn't find someone to throw the rock Denard's way?

No favors.

GTech, how do you screw it up. All the Reggie Ball tweets had me rolling tonight.

Anyway, big week this week, hitting NY and catching the USC vs. Syracuse game at MetLife. Any CFB S&T'ers have any NYC suggestions, leaving Thursday coming back Wednesday. General was no help, :lol. Might sneak in a Mets/Nats game at Citi.

Do people really honestly think Logan Thomas is a NFL quarterback?

The Spirit of Reggie Ball came thru like Stinkmeaner... ******g ridiculous play by Washington. what a Dumb *** play. ******g Moron. :x :{

Who would they have landed at QB in his 14 months at Michigan??? Got Russell Bellomy in 2011 and he has already passed Devin Gardner on the depth chart... 2012 was a terrible class of QBs and the only one worth a damn in the midwest was Gunner Kiel... He was flaky as hell and ended up having his mom choose for him... They land a Top 5 QB in the 2013 class with Shane Morris... Kid looks like he has potential but still has a ways to go... In hindsight getting some QBs after Tate left would have been a great idea but RR didn't do such and Hoke hasnt had much time or options... He seems to think he has an Ace in the Hole with Morris for next year and the rest of the team is in just as bad of of place as QB is... Projects at QB would be nice but the schollys are needed elsewhere ... The lines had zero depth and less talent... The skill positions have guys that would never play at Michigan in the past 20 years... Hoke wants a RB centered offense but what elite RB is going to look at a Michigan offense with Denard at QB and say that is an offense for him??? They are trying to transition the offense but its tough when the options aren't there and the best one leaves your offense less than appealing... Denard has his flaws but to run him against Bama more than they did would have lost the entire season for them... Take your loss against a Top 2 team and move on.. Hoke said, you cant have Bama beat you twice.. Thats what getting Denard injured would have done.... I have seen him get hurt against UMass, I didn't want him taking shots from bama all game

I don't know who is going to try to tell you different. We all saw what happened. That probably would have happened to most teams that night.....at least thats what I tell myself to make it not hurt so bad.

Do people really honestly think Logan Thomas is a NFL quarterback?
I do. Have you seen how big he is (pause)? I don't think they mentioned it but he's gotta be at least, I don't know, 6'4" 240. With a frame like that, all he has to do is fall forward and he gets 2 yards...well, not at the goal line but you get the point. And did you see those 2 TD passes? NFL type throws right there. If he had more than just a spring, summer and fall camp to work with these new WRs, they'd learn to jump higher or dive backward and go get some of those catchable balls. Stop focusing on the on-field product, think about measurables and maybe you'll learn a thing or two about football.

He's #4 on Kiper's big board ferchrisakes, he's gotta be good.

his accuracy is the issue though, if he can fix that which is the hardest thing to do, he will be a nfl starting qb

Logan Thomas is an NFL QB - for sure. 1st round pick, meh. Some team will reach tho. If Oakland had a pick (and if Al Davis was alive), he'd be their guy. Thomas fits the mold as a typical Raiders1st round reach LOL.

And Fowler Jr too...smh....guess Casher and Edwards won't be RS'ing this year
Watson picked up a knock on the offensive side of the ball against Murray State. FSU and Jimbo haven't really caught a break since season's start.

Off the top of my head, didn't Casher not play his entire senior year of HS?

I think you misspelled TE?

Watson is good to go, just a slight sprained ankle. He played the rest of the game before the starters were pulled.

Yeah Casher missed his Sr. season because he transferred schools.

Orignally he and Edwards were gonna redshirt because after summer camp they werent going to crack the top 4 and there was no sense in wasting a year of eligibility on 100 snaps. Now one (or both) of them have to play and be able to provide some value at that 4th DE spot. Jenkins logged an VERY large amount of snaps last year and the coaches were depending on him to do the same this year. Now extra snaps have to be divided up.

Ironman, what did you have in mind?

It pains me to say, but Logan Thomas is good. He's going to end up as a first rounder. He doesn't have a whole lot of talent around him right now.

He still can't read coverages or recognize the numerical advantage when he wants to audible to bubble screens. He has a cannon and is mobile but he definitely has major flaws

Dre: Blessing in disguise for Rio and Casher? I like both to be honest.

Can't take this Logan Thomas debate seriously. Waits for someone to over-hype him as the next Cam purely based on body type.

Can't believe I'm defending Denard or the Michigan problem, but you guys see the Michigan State players tweeting and talking trash directly at Denard?

Like one game removes validation from a potential Heisman candidate? Spartans have a short memory apparently. What happened last time you guys played Bama? 2010 Capital One Bowl, 49-7. You weren't on the winning 49-side either.
