this. dirk was home after one round and they acting like he lost in game 7 of the finals. 

if kobe's contract was the worst thing ever, we wouldnt have room for melo or bron. and the contract is 2 ******* years, that's no time. 

dudes acting like if kobe had taken 10 mill the lakers would have gotte bron, bosh, and gortat. lakers aren't likely to be a serious contender next year and kobe taking significantly less than he's worth wouldn't have changed it.

The problem is this with Kobe's contract... Adding a third player. That's where Kobe's contract hurts over next two years. If you had max for Melo and another $12-15mil to offer a third guy, that would be the key. That's where people get angry. If Kobe was 2 year / $35mil, CP would hardly be upset.
