When you haven't won a title since Nixon was president, you tend to get easily upset.
Melo could stay there, and it would be nothing of a surprise. Wouldn't even sting the Lakers franchise, or the fanbase. But their level of salt the second the Lakers became a threat has been fun to watch, has been Dan Gilbert level. Then act like they are perfectly normal with pages upon pages of mentions of the Lakers.

i have no problem with farmar did, we're all level headed here but you can imagine how much hate and straight bs these guys put up with on a daily on twitter/instagram and whatnot. im in LA and know a lot "LA fans" are nothing more than bandwagon dudes who have no sense and will just follow the crowd than form their own opinion.

Knicks are trying to trade Amar'e to the Sixers... Tall task, but in the unlikely event that Phil does it, they still wouldn't have cap if Melo re-signed even with getting rid of Amar'e, basically signals that Phil wants under the luxury tax to Sign & Trade for Pau.

Woah, let's be realistic here. I don't think Mitch thinks Melo brings us anywhere close to a chip. But Melo + Rondo -OR- Love would certainly put us in contention. And that $100M+ net profit illustrates how big of a deal the Lake Show is.
