2014 NBA Draft Thread

We're happy with Adams.. And Roberson in his brief appearances

We'll see what happens with alex abrines and grant jerrett

That's why Cleveland's selection really wasn't as terrible in hindsight. I mean it was bad but they really didn't have much to choose from. Although I remember how much people tried to gas Bennett and compared his athleticism to Larry Johnson. People got mad at me when I compared him to Al Harrington.

Cleveland really shoulda taken Oladipo last season. He was the "safe" pick of the draft. Hindsight is 20/20 tho..

If I was cleveland I would've selected Noel or traded the pick.

I'm a fan of AB and hope he pans out. At the same time they could've traded the pick + got some decent players in return and still got their guy.

Cleveland should have taken Noel and let him red shirt a year

What people don't get is this..

When Anthony Bennett was drafted he went thru shoulder surgery and WAS NOT available for summer league or any off season training.

That severely hurt him. He was in the league extremely out of shape not ready for what it was like.

Won't defend him beyond that, but he's only 21. *shrugs*

My boy Rodney Hood is going to go to a solid team in the 15-20 range it seems and he is going to cook :smokin

Very underrated in my opinion. He's gonna be a good player in the league no doubt in my mind.

I do not give one flying **** about Jabari's one on one defense in college. Plenty of great players were completely terrible defenders in college and early in the pros but just about none of them have the complete game that Jabari has and mostly all of them have improved. He's not going to be guarding KD and Bron every damn night. The guy has the mindset to be the greatest player on the floor every night. I've seen him have great blocks and steals, it's not like he's just some unathletic stiff or just stands there and watches people score right in front of him like Harden. He will compete and he's as coachable as they come. You don't have to worry about him being a bad teammate and alienating his coach and teammates.

cj mcollum can still be nice .

Agreed. His situation isn't ideal though with playing behind Lillard though. I'm a fan of his and hope he pans out.

And i'm a bit bias with this next sentiment, (okay a lot :lol) but Spencer is the biggest sleeper of this draft and will end up being very productive as a rookie. Yup :smokin

Jabari is an average on ball defender. Team defense though? From what i've seen he's terrible.

Man that 10-20 range is FILLED with talent. Lots of solid players and maybe even an all star can be found there.

THIS. Just sit back and hope he falls to the Sixers my man. He's going to bring a lot of excitement back to Philly basketball. Dude is just a baller. is offensive skill set is far and away above everyone else's in the draft right now.

I really just don't care. Jabari is the best basketball player in any draft since Kevin Durant. Yeah I said dammit.

Someone's taking advantage of not having to work tomorrow

Gonna act like Love, Curry, Harden, Griffin, Westbrook, George, Lillard, Wall and Davis weren't drafted after Durant
