If you want to say the lakers didn't win that trade I'm cool with that, it's really a matter of opinion. But it's as simple as playing connect the dots to see how Shaq turned into Pau

Everyone sees how Shaq eventually turned into Pau though. No one was arguing that part

No true Lakers (or NBA) fans see it like that, to to each his own LOL

Had NO damn clue this was a word.

I had to spell it out on the iphone to see if it was auto-corrected.

I'd rep this 10 times if I could.

Thanks for the word mate.

Shaq's contract turned into Caron plus parts, which was flipped to Kwame, which was flipped to Pau. You don't see that? :lol Maybe I only see it because I'm not a real Laker fan.

The ridiculous part is acting like Mitch "won" that first trade because of a separate one he ended up making three and a half years later.

Timeout. Has it been confirmed that Chicago has made that offer or is it just rumors?

Carmelo :smokin :smokin :smokin

Its just a rumor, why didnt the Wolves take the original offer of Taj, Mirotic, and Two picks before the draft? Now that we have McBuckets they're interested? Miss me with the smokescreens, Wolves trying to gut the Cavs roster.

Bulls signed Pau and filled out their bench, only player who might get moved is Dunleavy but I doubt. Barring any off season injuries (fingers crossed) our roster is pretty much set.

How are the Knicks doing though? Still have Bargs and JR on the roster? 8o

Supposedly, Earl is gonna be traded soon. No idea about Bargs or Shump right now. I want to keep Shumpert but oh well.

I don't know where JR is going. If you look up his stats from his last 2-3 months of playing, he was great. I think there's teams out there that would want him. I want him to stay on the Knicks. He came off a knee surgery and was suspended for weed. Then just had problems getting focused, but once he did, he was killing. I wanted to see Phil work with him but don't know if that's gonna happen.

I have such strange faith in J R, wanted him to do so much... hopefully he has at least one good hoo-rawh before he's thru

Miami.actually came out of this more than okay..deng bosh and Fade...not bad at all..

Barring injury, they're going to finish no worse than 5 in the East next season. May even get past the 1st round of the playoffs.

I'm pretty torn about the possible deal, and i dont like to do a whole lot of speculation because whatever happens is gonna happen and Im gonna support our Bullies regardless. I like the moves we made after losing on Melo. Howeva.....although , at first, I thought this renewed Love to Chicago talk was total BS and a ploy by Minnesota to get more out of a possible suitor, I am now starting to think that the speculation is serious. I am a big fan of Kevin Love. I have no doubt that dude would come over to the Chi and DO WORK, but having said that, you never wanna part with too much talent. I believe that Taj will take another step up this season. I've been a big fan of McDermott and I was super duper happy that we moved up to get him. I see Dougie being a 15 and 6 guy , or better, really really soon...and he can flat out shoot the rock. Then we have Nikola Mirotic, who could be outstanding, or could be a bust. I think Mirotic can eventually become a 20, 8, &4 guy. We pretty much know how good Taj is and will be...so the question becomes, how good will McDermott and Miritoc become??? Do you trade three really good players for one awesome player? Thats the loaded question.

Denver 36-46
New York 37-45

Don't really see how you can say one team got over on the other in that trade

That was last year when Denver wasn't healthy all year. Gallo didn't play at all and he was one of the key guys they got in the Melo trade. The year before that they were 3rd in the West. (Of course, the Knicks had a very good year that year too). Assuming everyone is healthy, I think Denver is a better team than the Knicks. So, I'd say that Denver overall got the better of the trade. But its not by a wide margin.
Knicks weren't healthy last year either.

The season before last the Knicks had a better record than the Nuggets too.
