:p

I'm ready bro.

You wanna act like drakeuncharted, thats your prerogative, but these bounty of riches that your club is experiencing shouldnt cloud your mind into thinking that no team can beat yours. Cleveland appears to be a solidteam, but to think that the Bulls cant beat them is arrogant and naive.

Itll be a two horse race, may the best team win.

You combine Wade, Bron, and Bosh's defensive abilities and that gives you elite rim protection.

Bosh is the reason why Miami could play defense the way that they did. His ability to show hard without being beaten, his length which allowed him to be an adequate rim deterrent, that plus Wade and Bron on the wings reeking havoc gives you that coveted rim protection.

I don't see a team in the east that'll be able to beat the Cavs 4 out of 7 times. Barring injury, it just isn't happening.

Winning it all is another story though.

A couple plays & they're in that ben wallace & mutombo category

Thats how Miami's defensive scheme worked and what made it so unorthodox, the bigs were hard trapping every screen and roll and the guards or wings, would rotate over to protect the rim, by either stripping the ball from over matched bigs, or having the greatest shot blocking guard in the history of the NBA, and freak athlete Lebron James reject them at the rim.

To say the championship Heat had no rim protection, is a lack of understanding of what rim protection means in the NBA, most teams do it with bigs, Miami did it with wings.

Don't ever compare me to that guy.

The thing with rim protection, and most people have this misconception working, is that you need a Big shot blocker to have elite rim protection, which isn't true.

While it obviously helps, you don't "need" that to have elite rim protection.

If you can't get to the rim without it being under heavy, dire duress, then that's rim protection too.

See Miami 2010-2013, (they fell off a bit last year) or PJ's bulls teams, especially from 90 to 93. 95-98 as well, but not as much. Phil's full court pressing, having athletes that can trap, rotate, strip, that's rim protection too.

watching the usa game on dvr. i can't help but to love the fact that d rose looks healthy. he really does remind me of a reserved russell westbrook with how aggressive his style of play is. so explosive to the rim, so creative around the basket.

I don't get all the hate for Harden's game either but I'd take his over many. He changed up a bit to my dislike but overall I'm a fan except the flopping.
David Blatt is in over his head

and you would know this how?

Exactly.
That's some Spoelstra talk. Ignore it.

Shawn Marion is whack though.
If you're hating on Kobe you fall into 1 of the following 3 categories.

1.You've barley reached High School which means you were playing yugioh and watching dragon ball Z while Kobe put up 81 in a game and won 5 championships.

2. You follow Skipbayless on twitter

3. You're from Boston
Whoa DBZ been on air waaaaaay before YuGi-Oh.

This don't apply to me cuz I don't hate on Kobe's game, I just didn't care for it any which way but I do think he's a rapist.
ESPN did an article on ball hogs and black holes at the beginning of last season (like late November); the author defined being a blackhole as "Lowest rate of passes per shot attempt". Klay Thompson, Eric Gordon, Nick Young, Marcus Thornton and Rudy Gay were top five.
Nah b, Melo is a ballhog. Iso Melo, iso Melo, iso Melo.
No rim protection = no championship.

I will go to my grave believing this, maybe the Cavs come out the east, but I can't see them winning.
Who was protecting the rim for the Heat?

I agree. I'm not a Bulls fan or even Rose really, but having him back healthy is good for the game. Really hope it stays that way. Chicago needs to be at full strength to make this season real interesting in the East.

You don't think Miami had elite rim protection?

As I alluded to in my post, people get caught up in size = rim protection, which is why people were questioning Miami's ability to defend the rim. If you can't get to the rim, then that's rim protection too.

Not 1 game in yet but you see this?

How does this even make sense to you
