Like he even had a choice, or like he was going to turn down 129 mill.
Melo was never about winning......he did outwitt Phil.

Chances were slim to none to actually acquiring Melo.
I personally feel that Melo's clown âss was feeling looked over after Brons decision and wanted to drag his FA out longer and just threw our team out there to give himself the attention he so desperately craves.

Either way good move by the FO and like others have stated we're not done dealing, maybe now we have the pieces necessary to get Love....who knows, but having too many big men is definitely not a problem.

Kudos to the FO for refusing to be held hostage by this lame áss diva, and staying active and acquiring other pieces....they really did learn a lot after 2010. I really wouldn't even be mad at Melo for choosing NY but the fact that before he even decided or tell teams if he would commit this clown was already trying to recruit for the Knicks......real disingenuous, and shows lack of character.

Knicks will be a very competitive team this year and hit playoffs easy, probably second or 3rd round with the right matchup.

Why act like Free agency pickups is the ONLY thing that makes a team good or bad. Look at a Suns last year. Came out of nowhere. Dudes wouldn't even call them good until last 10 games when they were making a playoff run. No BIG names or Superstar FA pickups.
Guys always say, player A can't be traded, nobody wants them, their contract is too high. Then what happens, player A gets traded because somebody wants them, AND THEN y'all say, what was that team thinking, lol. Shut that mess up NT GMs

- Can't wait to see all the Knick and Carmelo hate. Especially the Carmelo hate from people that wanted him on their team.

- Can't wait to hear from everyone that Carmelo wanted to be on the Bulls instead.

- How are free agents locked up already? NY has mad money next year and plenty of stars are dying to play for Phil. Fisher is well respected in the league and players love him.

- No idea why Flip thinks he an keep Love or change his mind. He wants out, get something before its too late.

Rockets really took a dump this free agency.

it's not that bad. it just looks worse because we were so close to getting bosh. melo was probably never realistic. but like i said, losing bosh like that makes it look so much worse. we can still bring back our starting lineup, and improve our bench.

Eh, the Knicks will have money and cap space next summer. No need to crucify Anthony for not choosing Chicago. The Knicks will have the flexibility to give Anthony help next summer, possibly as soon as this year's trade deadline

Dude, a few weeks ago you were making up all these scenarios how the Bulls could get Melo and how great it would be for them. Now you want to talk **** about him?

You're worse than a scorn female. Actually, you sound like one right now :lol

So Melo had his best year as a pro and still only won 37 games.

Carmelo rather be in CHI now. All the reporters and teams said his heart and passion was in NY. Most teams didn't think he would leave. Bulls said their meeting went well and the same day said he seemed too invested in NY.

Really hope my fellow Bulls fans don't come in here with the Melo slander. IF we had a little more cap space we would have landed him, simple as that. No need to hate on that man for getting PAID.

Anthony Morrow has agreed to a three-year, $10 million deal with Oklahoma City, league source says. @DarnellMayberry first with agreement

Great pickup for OKC

Sn is gone so we have hope now.

I see Bulls and Lakers fans that were in this thread and their team threads that wanted Carmelo badly, saying they would probably get him and would change the game. Now ******** on him.

Representatives for Carmelo Anthony are presently in negotiations on a contract that will bring him back to the New York Knicks, sources tell ESPN's Stephen A. Smith.
