only a couple people in this league can pull that off. Westbrook and the second best player on the planet

Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to do things a 6-foot-11 human being should not be capable of doing.

The Greek Freak is freakin insane https://t.co/NhKHJVgyoj

He picks up his dribble from well beyond the 3-point line and GETS TO THE BASKET IN TWO STEPS!

How does that shot above turn into a dunk? I’ve watched the replay about a thousand times and still don’t believe it. And, for good measure, he throws in a slick ball fake that puts Shane Larkin in the spin cycle.

When old NBA players say the game was better in their day and guys like Steph Curry couldn’t survive, show them a replay of this play and remind them Antetokounmpo is roughly the same size as Bill Russell. The game has evolved, gentlemen.

DeMarcus Cousins is openly rebelling against his coach, and the Kings look like they're headed towards disaster again

It's another lost season for DeMarcus Cousins and the Sacramento Kings.

It's become another lost year for the Sacramento Kings, but they never fail to make it dramatic.

Last week, the Kings suspended DeMarcus Cousins for one game for getting into a shouting match with head coach George Karl during a game and again afterward.

When asked about it, Vlade Divac, the Kings president of basketball operations, said, "We tried to do our best thing to send a message that we cannot tolerate some stuff ... He went a little far and we have to do things to be on the same page."

Divac also said that the suspension was his decision after speaking to Cousins and taking some time to "sleep on it."

However, on Sunday, when Cousins returned to the team from his suspension, he wasted no time in throwing Karl under the bus.

"That was no suspension from the organization," Cousins told reporters. "That was one from the head coach. There's a difference."

Before the game, a 108-99 loss to the Utah Jazz, Karl said he exchanged "pleasantries" with Cousins, though nothing "in-depth." Cousins also disputed that afterward.

"He hasn't said a word to me," Cousins said.

It's easy to see that this isn't an ideal situation. At 25-40, the Kings are far out of the playoff picture after a brief glimmer of hope for postseason contention earlier in the year. As the Kings miss the playoffs for the 10th year in a row, they're faced with the same question they've had for several years: what's next?

It seems like a no-brainer that Karl will be fired. His relationship with Cousins was rocky from the start, as Karl was hired as a replacement for Mike Malone, the only coach Cousins has gotten along with in the NBA. Karl made a comment last year that Cousins was not un-tradable, which further bothered the 25-year-old big man. Attempts to patch up the relationship have seemed half-hearted, and though the Kings showed the slightest bit of patience in giving Karl this season to try and take the reins, this kind of contentious atmosphere can't continue.

The Cousins debacle is even more difficult. Despite his otherworldly talent, Cousins hasn't proven to be a game-changing player that can make a team a borderline playoff contender by himself. His attitude issues only further complicate the problem.

With the right pieces in place (i.e. a better overall roster) Cousins can certainly help bring the Kings to the playoffs. But the Kings have been unsuccessful for six years in giving Cousins a competitive team to work with. With two more seasons left on his contract, Cousins is an attractive trade piece, and the Kings could gather attractive assets in return for him, but it will only push them further away from playoff contention. Reports paint the Kings ownership as desperate and impatient to make the playoffs.

The Kings' season will end with a dull thud once again, and it seems this offseason, the Kings are going to have to make some serious decisions about their future.

Man reading this reminds me of when they were cold and their arena was loud as hell. Cant believe its been a decade since they have been in the playoffs....

Yeah, that was an impressive play by LebLeb and also a ridiculous foul by DJ. Like half-heartedly putting a hand on LeBron's waist was going to do anything. Either foul him for real or get completely out of the way. :{

drummond is basically dj with a young motor. you take away lobs and putbacks dude does nothing. his defense is awful. perfect example came friday against the hornet. when his first shot attempt came at the 5:43 mark of the 4th. those 20-20 games are a thing of the past, early this season. He'll end up just being a dwight/dj, but I don't think he'll ever be able to be the franchise player like dwight was, and not simply because its a guard league again. Just seems like hassan has for more dimensions to his game than drummond. kinda like how bynum had more depth than dwight.

he does have a good head on his shoulders though, for the most part.

DMC is an idiot. He will never win nothing. He can't even get his team to the playoffs. Dude is annoying AF.another empty stats dude.

He got Westhpal fired, Malone was a team decision , and now he's about to get Karl booted.
Although I'm not a big Karl fan, he has good track record.

At some point that org. has to realize that maybe it's not the coaches but the star player.
DMC needs to mature and buy into the team concept or whatever philosophy the coach is trying to implement.

Still trying to figure out why Olynyk is in that picture.

Also the Giannis haters have gotten really quiet recently. People swore up and down he was average and was being overhyped.

Bulls has won 8 straight against the Raptors. I think the last game they beat the Raps they didn't have Rose or Butler

So if they lose tonight when they badly need a win, just stick a fork in them and TANK

Cousins will never take accountability man. Dudes been coddled. At some point, you have to look inward.

Any other "superstar" who can't lead his team to 30wins with a decent supporting cast would be ripped. Hell, Kevin Love could lead this sac team to 45wins.

DMC gotta look in the mirror a lil bit.

To be fair, I don't think there ever was all that many Giannis haters. Was really just 1 or 2 guys. But yes, they haven't said much lately.

Cousins is a man child, but chances are part of that can be attributed to where he is.

The Kings aren't known for stability or for having a good "system" etc. Put him on 20 other teams and he isn't as big of a baby as he is now. Dude would prosper on a team where he isn't supposed to be the grownup.
