So is this Luke Walton to the lakers thing pretty much a foregone conclusion? I feel like Luke is trying to go to a team that's further along in the rebuilding process...and has more talent.

Byron is a coach that doesn‘t suit well for the new generation of players. He is a bit harsh at times, but he is really really old school. Obviously, these new guys dunno what old school means. I think it‘ll actually help the rookies long term if they are willing to put their walls and prejudice down.
Byron hasn't worked well with in young guards. Kyrie and CP3 comes to mind.

those players are coach killers
byron has one of the great minds in basketball. he may be a little tough but i think that benefits these young guys later on

I think Walton will be very selective in the process a la Kerr.

I can't see him going to the Knicks like Kerr because of the roster and being a west coast guy. Maybe the Lakers or the Suns? But I'm sure Kerr will warn Walton about working for Sarver.

It's great to see the Hornets competitive again. :smokin

Has Al Jefferson taken a permanent position coming off the bench? If so, the dedication and sacrifice to win is much appreciated.

It is :hat. I haven't seen the hornets play more than 5 minutes this season....but I'm a Jeremy Lin fan....so any team he's on (other than the Lakers) I want to see do well.

Kemba deserves ALL NBA consideration. The guard position is so deep though.

21ppg 5apg 4rpg on 44/38/85 splits is very impressive. Crazy under the radar.

Byron Scott is the Phil Jackson of tanking. Goat status.

Not even you can hate forever bruh :lol. The light will blind you in due time.

I hope Walton doesn't go to Lakers. Setting him up for failure

Laker lifer Luke Walton guided your squad to its greatest start in franchise history. You're welcome

Damn, didn't even know the Hornets have a 7 game win streak going. And I guess Kemba has been playing really well. Rick Carlisle says he should win MIP.

Will Barton has to be 6MOTY right?

Or we still reserving that award for playoff only teams? Lin is the only other candidate. The "super 6th man" is dying (thankfully). I can see Iggy getting it though...

Why did Phil ruin his legacy by going to Knicks.

I mean, what is he doing out there? There is no way that team should be competitive, and make the playoffs.

Is he trying to keep them down and just wanting a check.
How come that team isn't better, man.

I sympathize with Knicks fans, we have some dark days(years really) ahead in OKC.
I highly doubt I pick up my Season ticket option for 2017.
When KD/RUSS are gone, we may never have another shot at a 2nd ring.

Although the Nuggets have generally been competitive all season and are playing pretty well lately, I don't see voters giving 6thMOY to a guy on a losing team. Iggy probably will win it, almost by default. Jamal will get some votes too, as he has had a good year.

Damn...so wild to think we're in Kobe's last month of his NBA career. His final 15 games. This is gonna be a hard month for me. :(

Its going to either crawford or lin, I think. Dont think iggy gets it due to dray and steph's season(s) overshadowing his contributions this year

The award has never went to a player who's team isnt "winning"

Am in agreement though about the super six man dying off though. Am happy about that

ruin his legacy. What. He ain't ruining nothing. He doesn't need to prove anything , nor does this effect his legacy at all.

Being affiliated with the Knicks is not a good look for anybody's rep but pj is a made man, you can't take his g pass from him at this point.

I don't think players mind old school if you can actually coach...I don't think Byron Scott can coach.

I could write a dissertation on the Knicks woes. Phil showing up wasnt going to magically lead to a turnaround and his legacy will be fine.

People will remember his time here the same way they remember Jordan on the Wizards or Ewing on the Magic, they don't.

Agree. The only way Phil could even dent his legacy was if he returned to coaching and NYC continued to suck as bad as they do.
