I'm sorry, but last night was one of my favorite Kobe game of all times. favorite =/= best, before you quiff your panties. I'm saying it was one of my favorites, from the anxiety of the game. The theatrics. The rough beginning. The Mamba rising. The 18 in the 1st. Then the 20 points. Then the 30 points. Then the 40.... My dude dropped 60. He hasn't done that since 09. 0 freakin 9. Let that marinate for a minute...how much has happened since 2009. And on the very last game of a monster career, he brought the fire one last time. And grabbed the victory. Vintage. But different. A new breed. Although he took a bunch of 3s, he didnt settle for his normal elbow, pumpfake fadaways last night. He drove it in for layups and straight midrange jumpers.

funny guys mention how many points guys would have if they took 30-40-50 shots...like who? Gimme some names. Curry? Of course. Who else. KD? Maybe. It's probable. Who else though? Those are both 2 historic scorers. But who else? We've seen bron say if he could take 40 he'd get 70.....lie detector came back...that was a lie. Son averaged 40 shots, scored 40 points.

50 shots in itself is a feat. I bet you guys saying its no big deal haven't even hooped before to say pulling 50 shots is cake. It takes mad effort in itself. Hell it takes mad effort it press the shot button 50 times on 2k! Dude showed last night why he was one of the best, if not the pinnacle of singular scorers the game has ever seen. And truth is...he would've had more if he saved a couple of those 3s and drove in a few more times. Much like the 81 pt game, there were plenty more opportunities for more points, but the decision was made for different shots. Those 2 airballed 3s could've easily been 2 layups. Missed 2 freethrows, could've been 2 more points. Bruh could've ended near 70 if he had changed some shots. guarantee he went back and watched the tape and critiqued where he could've done better.

:rollin :lol :rollin

no lie freeze brah u one of my fav nters

It's funny, I just realized that I'm the Kobe of Laker fans... and that doesn't even make sense as a reference anymore. It used to, because everyone used to hate Kobe except Laker fans. I REMEMBER!! It wasn't even that long ago! Dudes couldn't STAND him and used to clown ANYONE who talked up Kobe's game. "Stupid *** Laker fan" was the AUTOMATIC response if someone defended Kobe. But now everyone loves him, so that reference doesn't even work. I guess I'm Lebron... until his retirement tour when everyone loves the hell out of him, too.

I know people say they won't, they say they'll keep the hater gas pedal pressed to the floor... but... no. We're reading that book right now, and we'll read it again in a few years.

Me, though? I'm'a stay the villain. And I heard a lot of trains switching gears last night. "Man, I've never liked Kobe, but I respect his game now that he's gone."

Nah, not me. Couldn't be me, nah not me.

So before it was "the Warriors are gonna get beat by the Spurs" "the Warriors won't break the record" "the 90s was better" "Bulls would mop them" blah bah blah blah

And NOW, it's "the season will be for nothing, they won't win the chip" "they gonna choke" "it won't matter if they don't win the ring"

:rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin L M A O!!!

dude had the energy to go 5/5 and 4/4 at the line to end the game

that's after shooting 45 times and playing 38 minutes of basketball

truly incredible, the man was dying out there but he sucked it up to give us one last show
no lie...after he made that one shot and utah called the time out and homie grabbed him around the waist and he was so drained and tired...I got nervous...I saw how tired he was...I had only ever seen that look one other time...April 12th...2013. Dude was insanely drained that game but kept pushing.

I saw that look last night that no matter what happened, he wasn't going to stop. Dude was only supposed to play the last 6 minutes of the 4th, but he just kept gunning. I was just hoping it didn't end in injury. But..

my dude didn't disappoint. Game was legendary, no matter how the haters want to package it.
after that 3rd quarter I just knew he was going to start the 4th

like 12 minutes of basketball left in your life, there's no way my dude would sit out a single second

dude just did what he's been doing for 20 years, put the entire team on his back and get that W

was super dope that byron had the lineup of kobe + 4 kids and everyone running up to kobe for a family hug when the game was in the refrigerator, the doors were close, the lights were out, the butter was getting hard, the eggs were cooling and the jello was jigging

everyone on the team wanted kobe to put up 50 shots, everyone wanted to see the legend at his best for one final time

I still can not fathom that picture of kobe hugging shaq after his final game with the statline of 60 points 50 shots. If you were to have shown me that in 2013 I would have bet my entire life savings that it was a hoax.

The thing about both Kobe and MJ they are both either hated or loved. Hero or villain..Guaranteed you take Kobe out of the league the last 20years and the NBA would not be as popular as it is now especially post Jordan era..The Lakers dominated a decade as did the 90s Bulls and the league is better for it..People don't remember how much MJ was hated in late 80's before he won a ring those first 7 to 8 years were shade city....Ballhog selfish arrogant can't win..this is what was said..Kobe went thru same thing after Shaq left..I said this the other day in here..If people don't talk about you as a celebrity or athlete you are irrelevant so hate or love you are acknowledging the person is doing something.. I respect people saying they don't like someone but still acknowledge their impact on whatever they do..I can't stand Lebby but when he wants dude can ball..Do I think he's a soft passive aggressive cornball yes..As a Kobe and MJ fan I look at them as basketball players not role models..

And this is the other thing I forgot to mention a little bit ago when someone tried to call me out for 'downing everything': there are things about Kobe I respect.

Only those who really pay attention could list what any of those things are, but they're there.
