damn those missed FT's really messed Nick Anderson up mentally

I still remember that '96 season. I'm not even going to lie, I drank the Kool-Aid; after Penny held the fort down while Shaq was injured, I said good riddance. :{ And yes, technically, with no state tax, Shaq would have made more w/ Orlando, but the damage was done.

Whether Shaq stayed or not, they wouldn't have won the chip while the Bulls were re-establishing their dynasty. Plus, Penny's knee injury occurred while playing with Shaq, Nick Anderson's confidence was shot (though he still had a solid career) and Dennis Scott was a one dimensional player. And don't let the 30 for 30 fool you, they had no bench whatsoever.

Still, we had that '97 Heat series where Penny went 42, 41, 33 in games 3-5 respectively.

dubbed those jerseys the "pajama" jersey :lol  I remember my mom buying me the Drexler one back in the day. Never knew how hideous it was until i got older :lol

A few months ago I was in a throwback jersey phase for some reason and got an Olajuwon, one of my favorite players. When it came in I was like what the hell was I thinking? :lol so damn ugly

Kobe had an epic night and GSW broke the record, but I get home and put on First Take and they open the show with NFL news on the #1 pick trade?

FOH

watching the iverson documentary on netflix

that crossover on MJ might be the most overrated play ever. stuff like that happens in the nba every day
man i was just talking about this the other day.

the cross was alright, nothing too vicious
its kinda like kobe's fadeaway on bron, was a nice move on a great player but its not like OMG best play of career level stuff

Man Penny Hardaway aka Butch McCray was easily my favorite player growing up. I remember those Magic teams, especially against the Pacers in the conference finals? They got smoked by the vets, tho. Penny dropped 42 against the heat the next year in the playoffs and that was that. Funny as I've gotten older I don't really go crazy for his game as I did when I was young. You couldn't tell me nada back then.

Same way John Starks DID NOT dunk on MJ. I can't stand when people bring that up. He dunked on Pippen. MJ got his *** out the way because he saw that coming. He put his hand up for a half a second and took it right back down. Oh yeah the Knicks lost that game too, so why does Starks still drag up that highlight.

So basically the shaq led Lakers were the clippers and kept getting booted in the second round until Kobe came of age. Interesting.

Is that that jones lady in ur avi again?

Nice avi change. Brewers glove logo is the goat for baseball logos. Only one that comes close is the Orioles logo (that I think they went back to now).

these are the worst ever
Not even remotely close to worst ever. The Grant Hill pistons unis with the horse head on the front and that not teal color are far and away the worst. And then running cleanly in second place are those late 90's hawks jerseys where the whole bird is on the front and then the wings go all the way around to the back. Flat out garbage.

Man the Brewers glove logo is the greatest logo in sports history. Everything about it is perfect.

i'll give this iverson documentary on netflix a 4/8

I expected a celebration of the player but it was the most depressing documentary on a star basketball player I have ever watched, just non stop focus on his short comings making it seem like his entire career was a failure

not that he had a successful career or anything but a documentary should focus on what made him great

True but the unfortunate part is his early life was massively depressing and it defined him.

Yeah now that bucks season is over time to switch avi to proper season lol They have a new navy blue jersey this year featuring this logo. Nice twist with past/present along with the normal Friday night retro. You talking about the one that just the actual Oriole one or the more animated Oriole thats just the face?

yeah i understood why they spent so much time on that but once he got to the nba they focused on the mj cross over and the finals win and the rest was negative
