Cj McCollum is the front runner for MIP so far
Beal will be the leading scorer on a playoff team. Possibly top 10 in scoring and make the AS team. His impact will mean more than CJs will.

CJ is getting more opportunities to score this season. Beal is getting the same as he did last season. He's just a better more efficient player now.

Ok.. And?

Cj went from an after thought his first two years to currently averaging over 20 points per

Yeah, lets just eliminate the MIP award, since, yknow, you HAVE to actually improve in the EXACT SAME amount of minutes.

Bench players to starters? Nah... they didn't improve.

You must be a starter, for the exact same team, and the same coach, doing the same thing, just better. Thats what improved means, right?

Give me 5 reps too for being the resident stand-in top Blazers fan until Chester returns from across the pond

Ha ha ha. Yesterday I was saying to myself someone's missing from the NFL thread. I forgot Chester went on vacation.

I'll give you 2 reps for the effort once I get more to pass out.

"Durant isn’t coming to Washington. It has nothing to do with Brooks, who Durant respects and has even missed at various points this season. For all of Brooks’ flaws, Durant knew this: He held everyone accountable, and his track record of player development defined him. Durant and Russell Westbrook became MVP-caliber players under Brooks, while the likes of James Harden, Serge Ibaka and Reggie Jackson thrived, too.

Durant isn’t bound for Washington, friends say, because … it’s Washington, it’s home, and, like so many athletes, Durant isn’t all that keen on returning to play in the city in which he grew up. Friends, family – some real, some claiming to be – all come out of the woodwork in those situations, and Durant, who has tightened his inner circle considerably in recent years, isn’t interested in dealing with them. His lone trip to D.C. this season was stressful, league sources told The Vertical, reinforcing to friends that wherever Durant signs next summer, Washington won’t be it."

This season showed that Thibs should not be faulted for any injuries. Blame clearly belongs to the medical team. I am so very sorry for any ill thoughts I've had of Thibs..
I followed probably closer than you.

So Thibs gets absolutely zero credit for getting the most out of Derrick Rose? Rose was supposed to win MVP that year huh?

So against the Miami Heat, who feature Wade, Bron, & Bosh on the court at the same damn time, you want him to play Kyle Korver? Who exactly is he guarding in that situation?

And was Noah's injury woes on Thibs, or the Bulls medical staff? Nobody was playing outrageous mins before the injuries began in Thibs FIRST season. Dudes started dropping like flies, he played his starters more like every single coach in the league would've done

Butler & co were just as injured this year under Hoiberg & that medical staff is the common denominator.

KD is a lowkey dude why anybody thought he would come back is ridiculous to me. Dude literally gets mobbed all day when he goes back.

I've been having a fun time recently letting my dreams run wild by imagining KD signing with the Bucks and point Giannis.

If KD signs with Toronto or Boston does the East instantly become equal to or greater than the West. I think so.

What? Definitely not greater. Equal is a stretch.

You take KD away from OKC and you still have 3.5 good teams in the West and only 2 in the East still. Not to mention that neither KD nor Bron are winning a 'ship anytime soon with the Spurs and the Warriors the way they are.
