Because the team president Montgomery loves him and believes in him. Just a few days ago he said that Amaro is capable of the job and he thinks he can turn things around.
They want a top notch prospect for a package of Byrd and Bastardo. Another top notch prospect for Papelbum and another for Lee. Teams aren't gonna give up a lot for Lee because he's owed a lot of money, his age, and he's coming off of an injury. Paps has a lot of money left on his contract and just yesterday it was reported that he wouldn't waive his no trade clause unless he was going to a team that was gonna make him their closer. And Byrd wants any team that trades for him to pick up his option for next year.

thanks for that, I did not really know that he believes in him. To be honest what is there to believe in smh he brought this damn team down into the ground the past recent years its a joke right now our organization.

There's nothing to believe in. The entire organization is a joke. The team isn't sold on trading away players because they still believe in them or want way too much in return. The Howard situation is a joke. He's struggling and they kept him out 3 games in a row but still continue to hit him 4th. Revere has no arm but he's still in center. But they continue to believe in this team.

Gonna be in Baltimore on the 12th and 13th in Sept...thinking about getting tickets to watch em get creamed by the Yanks
I love Camden Yards so I'm hoping they'll be on the cheaper side.
CY is a great part to get tix on the cheap. You won't have any problems.
