Even more surprising they didn't have to give up Betances or Banuelos. Robbed the Mariners IMO. I still think Montero will rake and he'll be a premier hitter sooner rather than later. I hate giving up his bat. BUT, it was for a young + controlled pitcher with a lot of upside.Originally Posted by abovelegit1

Many see Campos as a younger edition of Pineda. He is imposing physically at 6-foot-4, 195 pounds. He throws a very reliable, high-velocity fastball. While Campos lacks the experience and polish of Pineda, he is only 19. Pitching for Class A Everett last season, Campos went 5-5 and yielded just 66 hits in 81 innings, walking just 13 while fanning 85 for a stunning 0.97 WHIP. Scouts are very bullish about Campos, and it's a bit surprising he was included along with Pineda in the deal for Montero.
Yankees, Angels Discussing Trumbo?
Jan 14, 2012 8:48 AM EST
The Yankees and Angels are discussing the possibility of a trade involving first baseman Mark Trumbo, according to a source.
Los Angeles signed Albert Pujols earlier this offseason, making Trumbo somewhat expendable.
It's possible that New York could move reliever David Robertson in a deal for the young slugger.
