I was trying to figure out a trade for that. One thing I'd worry about is that if they do make that trade, Cash could then sit on his hands saying he made improvements, and that would be a mistake.

Yankees getting Chapman is a waste of assets, go get someone you actually need like a starter.

I think if they could use Gardner & Nova and project prospects to get BP & Chapman... It could be worth it. If they then go out after Heyward or Upton.
But making that deal and doing nothing else like you said is a bad idea.

I know he is. That's why I'm taking a hard line stance on it.
He's not a necessity on this roster. So you have room to lowball it. If it doesn't get done, whatever, you can move on with Dellin & Miller.
