Yanks couldn't have had a worse showing than these first 3 games pretty much wrapped up any chance they had at that WC.

thursday night was really a heart breaker for them. they had that one won. tough way to lose. i can see how it took the wind out of their sails

Not really, they're just streaky like every other team in the majors. Nats are pretty much Top 10 in the MLB in every major offensive category.

Bats going cold in October isn't necessarily a surprise no matter what team it is.

Without Strasburg I don't think the bats really matter for the Nats.

I know it's a couple weeks away but I'm already picturing Kershaw throwing 8 shutout innings vs the Nats. Everybody talks about his postseason struggles but he's going to sit the Nats down one by one.
