Now that the season is over, I expect to read the headline that says Harper needs surgery to repair whatever turned him into a damn slap hitter.

Could you imagine what Werth's mind was thinking when he saw the catcher? :lol

I just read that Rendon left 22 runners on base in a 5 game series. He's a good hitter but stats are stats. That's pitiful.

I hate to pile on Harper, but he's a terrible baserunner. Consistently gets thrown out or picked off. Rather maddening.

Seeing the replay of Werth getting thrown out and it just gets more and more ridiculous each time.

I need to go to bed.

Poor Wilmer Difo. Fed to the wolves. In that situation - was there anybody outside of Difo's immediate family that thought he was going to get a hit? Child's play for Kershaw.

Murphy popping out was the nail in the coffin. I never question Murphy the god, but it was interesting he didn't take a strike.

My boy just told me he thinking of copping two refundable Game 1 WS tickets in Cleveland if they win to face the cubs (if they win) for $3k total.

Wrigley Field damn near  $3k a person, might as well take that 5 hour drive from the crib to Cleveland.

Seeing the different emotions in the stands are crazy man.

I was at U.S Cellular for Game 2 of the World Series when Paulie hit the Grand Slam, man the feeling I had going nuts with everyone in our section was insane.

Nothing like playoff baseball man.

He pulled Scherzer too late.

Also, **** our dumbass 3B coach. Seriously, **** that guy.

Not sure if you heard Dusty's post game comments, but I'd avoid reading/listening to them if you haven't. I'm not even a Nats fan, but I was :eek :{ at some of the things he was saying. It's almost like he just doesn't get it.

Besides the base running blunders, and it's a cardinal sin to give out an out while on base, Dave Roberts was masterful with his pitching decisions by going outside of the box.

All that being said, Cubs in 5.

P.S. Urias balked.

I'm out.

No, he didn't.

Even if it was a balk, that's on Harper for being 12 feet off the bag on EACH attempt from Urias. You would think after the 3rd pick off try, Harper would be closer to the bag. Moronic.

I turned everything off once I saw Difo swing. Don't plan on reading or watching anything.

Then what does that make the Mets? You're acting like they aren't professional choke artists themselves.

That is just Dusty being Dusty. first off all fire that 3b coach. are you kidding me? what play was he looking at sending werth home? and pulling scherzer was crazy. so he gave up a hr (barely over the wall btw). its stil 1-1. i see pulling him if he gave up another hit, or xbh. but not in that scenario.

its funny how i can only think of the giants when that was happening last night with dusty switching relief pitchers left and right.

I don't even think Scherzer was at 100 pitches. He was still throwing gas also. He had a good 15-20 pitches left in him. In a situation like that, how do you not leave Scherzer out there? Crazy that he was pulled.

****...I remember when CC Sabathia was on the Brewers, they were riding him like no other....dude was throwing 120-130 pitches :lol

Cool...

I'm just busting your cojones. Y'all are good but not better than the Mets if both teams are healthy. Y'all definitely have a better manager. But as a non-bias baseball fan and former competitive player, I'd say that you guys are a top team but not better than the Mets.
All things considered I'd say the teams are equal. Both have great starting pitching with health issues. Offenses are both extremely streaky and rely on the HR ball way too much. Both teams are pretty meh defensively. Both teams are also managed by the oldest managers in the league which doesn't help.
