I just fail to see how a vague team name and cartoon logo is racist.
The Texas Rangers are named after military/police unit that's been in existence since the early 1800's. Are people now supposed to be offended by all the bad stuff that was going on then?
Edit: no I'm not serious with the above line, but it just shows how almost anything can be stretched into not being PC
