Same ****, different toilet. No matter how much y'all try to twist it.

You can't compare Lebron to KD in saying that they did the exact same thing because the 2010 Heat were not contenders, the 2016 Dubs were absolutely contenders.

This re-writing of history

The summer of 2010 was not that long ago man . I mean, the LeBron decision thread is still on NT for Christ sakes. We all knew what was going to happen when LeBron joined a 27 year old D Wade and a 25 year old Chris Bosh in the Eastern Conference. The rest was just a formality.

Dudes literally said in 2010...."LeBron signing to Miami would make the NBA boring".

No amount of laughing emojis will make what they did the same

The heat were a championship team because of lebron, the Warriors were already a championship team before the 2nd best player decided to go there.

Done with the topic.

Still not understanding the KD hate

Lebron paved the way for these type of "Super Teams" by winning 2 rings in Miami.

LeBron continued this trend by adding Kevin Love when he came to Cleveland.

KD followed the blue print and did it wayyyyy better, savage style at that

These elite kids in high school teaming up in AAU, then going to Duke, UK, Kansas, etc. The super team trend will be here for a while bros.
we hated on Lebby for it so why wouldn't we hate on KB for it? I plan to hate on the next top player that does it for that matter

You do realize you're typing "B" instead of "D" right? :nerd:
Kev Beta

Not 1, Not 2, Not 3.... the moment, he held that news conference 1 hour special.

He knew what he was positioning himself to get into. Let's not play stupid!

Lol people said that about Boston in 2007 before this AND about the Lakers in 2003.

The difference was that the Lakers were contenders but Boston was not. And even then the 2003 Lakers were nowhere near as good as the 2016 Dubs nor were Malone and GP anywhere near as good as KD.

This Warriors squad is a recipe for disaster for the league-the ratings for the Finals are going to tank.

Lol yes he was but he was saying he would TURN them into contenders who would win "not 1, not 2", etc.

KD joined a team that had already won and set the record for wins in professional basketball history.

Like the GSW postgame last night KD/DRAY are on the podium.

Reporter asks Dray how he was able to keep from crossing the line and getting suspended (something like that).....and no sooner than he gets the question out KD gets defensive and butts in like "ah you really want him to cross that line don't you"....

Let Dray answer, which Dray answered well, he doesn't need you speaking for him.

KD would do that in OKC too with Russ, he's like a Drama King creating animosity, he's that guy in the group who is always "stirring up controversy" and making a big deal out of little things just to have some beef cooking.

Reporter should have asked him, um KD how did you feel last year when it was your teammate that Dray kicked, were you that defensive then? Or were you too busy conspiring with Dray to join his team while you tanked the series and blew a 3-1 lead?
U hate KD now?
I don't hate in that way. I do dislike his ways, and that goes back to OKC. I stayed on him for his poor attitude towards the media and beef stirring drama avocation here, too. Yes avocation not advocation, because it is a hobby for him it seems.

18.7mm for game 1 of Cavs-Warriors on Thursday. Down 3% from last year's record. Hardly shabby under any circumstance let alone a blowout

His stats were on a "needs" basis, no stat padding, he wasn't chasing that triple double. Lebron got his and then sat out afterwards, he eased up. Safe zone shooting *** to protect his percentage, etc etc

What are you talking about, the game was getting out of hand and lebron started launching stupid 3's, how is that trying to protect his percentage.

KD joined a team that had already won and set the record for wins in professional basketball history.

LeBron LEFT his team that had back 2 back 60+ wins to join a Super Squad, and even compromised salaries to make it work.

Like I said, he knew where he was going and what would come out of it.

We're just gonna have to disagree but theres no doubt lebron protects his stats.

Well the Heat were a 47 win team that added Mike Miller, Mike Bibby, Illgauskus, Bosh, Lebron, and Ray allen.  Kind of hard to look at the record and be like "well they were only a 47 win team the year before" when they legit added a whole new team outside of Wade.

Had those players been in place already we would all be saying it is the same damn thing.  Same end result, different circumstances.  Here are the players added to that 2010 heat team:

[th=""]Player[/th][th=""]Signed[/th][th=""]Former Team[/th]

Chris BoshSigned 6 Year Contract For $110.1 MillionToronto Raptors

LeBron JamesSigned 6 Year Contract For $110.1 MillionCleveland Cavaliers

Mike MillerSigned 5 Year Contract For $25.0 MillionWashington Wizards

Žydrūnas IlgauskasSigned 2 Year Contract For $2.8 MillionCleveland Cavaliers

Juwan HowardSigned 1 Year Contract For $1.35 MillionPortland Trail Blazers

Jerry StackhouseSigned 1 Year Contract For $210,339Milwaukee Bucks

Erick DampierSigned 1 Year Contract For $1.14 MillionCharlotte Bobcats

Mike BibbySigned 1 Year Contract For $450,727Washington Wizards

And then they added Ray allen the following year.  You cant just say well they only won 47 games the year before.  That was a completely different team.
