This whole GS wasn't going to beat Cleveland without KD thing is overblown. These dudes only needed to win 1 more game last year. Cleveland was a worse team this year in comparison to last year. Who's to say GSW wouldn't have been successful going in to this year.

That does make Draymond look weak though. They really had to call for help to beat the bully. At least in his mind he didn't believe they could beat a healthy Cavs team at least in the moment.

Could of easily been the fact that the season was over, and KD is way better than Harrison Barnes. I genuinely don't think he thought "If we don't get KD we can't beat the Cavs"
Hell when Draymond and co were in the hamptons recruiting they kind of alluded to this.

Eh, the way the piece was written I definitely disagree. Fresh off the field of battle isn't a good look. I still think they could have nature l beaten the Cavs without KD, but it's not a slam dunk like it is now.
