This whole GS wasn't going to beat Cleveland without KD thing is overblown. These dudes only needed to win 1 more game last year. Cleveland was a worse team this year in comparison to last year. Who's to say GSW wouldn't have been successful going in to this year.

Draymond was feeling guilty. He knew what was coming. All the 3-1 jokes, all the references to him being  suspended. He knew beforehand. He's not a dumb guy.

Any team in the league would've got KD if they thought they could. If the business is to win, you gotta set yourself up. It wasn't like Steph was in the whip calling KD. I don't think there's any reason to believe GS wouldn't have gotten revenge with the same squad they had last year. KD just makes it more of a surety.
