but to the original point, dudes really blaming the warriors for the rest of the league being trash and decreasing viewership? **** is comedy to me. the warriors signing KD meant that the league went from a 4 league team (GSW, OKC, SAS, CLE) to a 3 league team (sorry OKC). and considering this warriors team won 73 games last season, the landscape of NBA barely shifted; just made it more certain that cream would rise to the top.

and if folk want to blame the warriors for ratings dipping 15% this season then you also have to thank this very same team for increasing viewership last season. how many "casual" fans tuned in last year to watch this team ascend to 73 wins just so they could say they witnessed history? **** if i could convince my gf and her unathletic *** crochet and knitting friends jump on the warriors bandwagon, then i'm confident as hell there were millions of other new viewers. i'm assuming a large part of that 15% decrease are those casual viewers just not caring this season and tuning off. it's zero sum game
